Pancheros Mexican Grill - Wallingford — Restaurant in Wallingford

We ordered online and when we went in to pick it up, we were not so nicely “greeted” by the girl behind the counter, completely ignoring us. My partner and I hadn’t been to Pancheros in years and figured we’d try it tonight, and this was not an experience I’d like to repeat. When we walked up to the counter expecting to be greeted, the girl working was looking completely through us, to the point my partner and I were looking at each other confused as to what was going on. We kept looking at her, waiting for the interaction to begin; however, she started saying “how come you always come in at this time?” so we both said “what?” And she said it again. Well, she was actually speaking to her friend that was visiting while she was working. Instead of ignoring him until we were helped, she ignored us. We then had to be helped by the nice guy at the register who was dealing with a handful of other customers who she was not helping with either. Not only was our customer service experience terrible, but when we got home and began eating, my burrito was filled with massive pieces of hard, raw onion. The burrito itself was fine, but I kept having to pick out huge pieces of raw onion from the burrito or even my mouth. Unfortunately, we will not...

I want to love Pancheros but they make it extremely hard. Every time I come here they are out of something, like idk if someone needs to figure out their inventory or what but it never fails. I understand it happens sometimes where you run out of things but this is getting out of hand...

List of things that they have been out of on single visits. I don’t even go at ungodly hours, I go around dinner time (6:00).

No burritos (I lol’d at this one). Like how do you run out of burritos. No ice, no Diet Coke, and no covers for cups (all same visit mind you). Was never mentioned when I ordered a drink. -no chicken, no Vegetables. This has happened on at least 3 or 4 visits, it happens a lot and there is no excuse.

When they do have everything it tastes very good so that’s why you get 3 stars. Fix your inventory problems, next time I walk in and there isn’t a key ingredient I am dumping this...

I have never been to this location, just so that you are aware. But if I have been to this place, the first thing that I would be put off by would be the child sacrifices every day at 3pm. Like, why 3pm? earlier in the morning would be waaaay more convenient. They accept bribes for specific children, so if there is anyone in your neighborhood that really grinds your gears... you have options. BUT ONLY AT 3PM!? WHY!!!??? Burnt bodies are tossed into the road, and no one seems to mind. That's Wallingford for you, I guess. Hail Baal, god of burritos and child sacrifice! Long live Baal. PizzaGate is real. The food, that I still haven't tried, looks mid....
