My father passed away one week ago today. As a thank you, to the loving staff at Yale New Haven Hospital, that took care of my father in his last days, we ordered a platter of chocolate to be sent. When we placed our order, we were very specific that it go to "the South Pavilion, floor 6-4, trauma surgery day staff. We were advised by the person that took the order, that they could not promise delivery yesterday or today,but certainly by April 26th.
This afternoon, we received a phone call, voicemail, from Rachel advising that they were unable to locate the place for delivery. When I returned the phone call, I was advised by Rachel that the "young girl went to two locations, in the rain and could not find the trauma 'center'". I tried to explain that it is not a trauma center, but again gave the specific instructions and advised that it was at the 20 York Street entrance. Rachel kept referring to the "trauma center" and I kept trying to correct her. We then hung up and I was advised they would try again. Five minutes later, we received a phone call telling us how rude we were and that in 15 years of business, no one ever treated her that way and they were not going to deliver our order, but instead would refund our money.

There was no other sign on that shelf and the bag had no label saying what was in it (some bags do on the back, some donāt). When we got to the car I opened the bag and quickly realized it was chocolate covered gummy bears. When my boyfriend went right back in he double checked to make sure there was no sign saying chocolate covered gummy bears and made the lady aware. She said we couldnāt get a refund or exchange because the bag was opened.
