We visited just yesterday on March 20th because we were in the area and I had my dog with me. My dog was the only dog in the "large dog" side, and there were 2 smaller dogs in the "small dog" side that met her at the fence to bark at her LOL! My dog, a 50 lb. Standard Poodle, simply wagged her tail and observed them for a quick minute before moving on todogay some fetch. The area for the dogs to run was a decent size. The entire ground was dirt, no grass to be seen, which is why I gave 4 stars. It would be such a beautiful dog park with grass. It certainly has the potential! There were a few areas to sit. It was really a very basic dog park and it served its purpose for my girl today. There are poop bags provided. There are some boxes labeled "toys" that had a few tennis balls in them. There was a large silver water bowl, but I didn't see a water source. I've seen fountains at other parks so I may have over looked it, or maybe it is installed or set up when it hits a certain temperature, I'm not sure. The pink-ish "ball" under the garbage can lid, do not kick that ball. That is NOT a bouncy rubber ball. That is a ridiculously HARD PLASTIC BALL and I hurt my toe. I thought I broke it. I whimpered like a giant baby for atleast four hours after that! LOL I actually had to have my son get the damn thing to see if it was a bowling ball. I walked in and kicked it for my dog, fully expecting it to bounce across the park like we do at home. That didn't happen 😆 it took off a bit, but clearly wasn't meant to be used for kicking. Avoid the pink ball!! There was a decent-sized parking lot but it needs a little work (also my reason for 4 stars - I have a lowered car!) All-in-all I would return if I'm in the area...not on a rainy day, of course!

Great place to let your dogs run wild. The dogs that are there are, for the most part, very friendly. Once in a while you'll get the entitled owner that doesn't correct their animals. But we go here every day and meet with some of the other regulars that bring their pups and usually have a great time. I definitely recommend coming here if you have a dog that needs to let loose all that pent up energy.

Amazing! People need to realize that this is a park and you will get dirty, especially with dogs running around. Split sides like most dog parks for big dogs and small dogs. Wish there was some type of water fountain/faucet for the dogs, especially since there isn’t much shade There is also a book hut to take/leave books. Something different than people always staring at their phones.

It's a dog park, they separate the large from the small, it's spacious enough for your dogs to have fun and mingle with others. It does get dirty, but your dog is happy when playing with other dogs, happiness will always succeed, plus its not the end of the world if you or your dog get dirty, thank goodness bathing is a thing. Water bowls are supplied, but make sure your bring water for your dog, as I tend to bring extra for those who forgot. The location is ideal, easy to get to and not too far. Everyone is friendly, as they should be, your dog will thank you at the...

The park is not all that large and there is no water supply. But the worst problem is the dirt ground. The dogs get filthy, the owners get filthy from handling their dogs, and it kicks into the wind which gets in your eyes. Whoever thought that a dirt floor at a dog park was a good idea was wrong. I would rather go to southington or cheshire where there is grass. Its an easy fix guys, PLEASE...
