Worst pharmacy ever! 1) they screwed up my daughters specialty formula for eleven months. First they couldn’t figure out the code to put it under for insurance purposes. After a month of excuses, a sub from another store spent 15 minutes and figured out the issue. Second they accidentally gave my formula to another child that needed it... even though it was ordered for my daughter. Third there was always an excuse as to why they didn’t have the full amount. They told me many times that the order got screwed up and I’d have to come back later or next week etc...Finally... they called me a month after she was a year old and not on formula ...four times and each time I told them that I took her off automatic order bc she was not on formula anymore. They told me it needed to be paid for. I was not paying for something I couldn’t use and cancelled. Then with my mothers prescriptions they gave me and charged me for the wrong ones three times. Yes partially my fault for not checking before I left... but who would have thought you constantly had to check when picking up four to five prescriptions at a time. They even refused to refund me for the wrong prescription given bc I had already taken it even though it was completely unopened. And had credited the guy in front of me for the same issue! Then they told me it was my fault bc they had different dosages and some were closed and some weren’t. Finally I went to get an antibiotic today. They told me it would be ready in 20 min. Then to come back in an hour. Then after waiting 20 min in line after the full hour... they asked me to come back in 20 min again. This is not easy to do with a one year old in the car... The pharmacist is very knowledgeable but the staff all needs to be retrained in customer service and accuracy of he computers. I’m sure there are things I have missed but those are the keys from the past year!! I should have known better when the drs office said they have had nothing but complaints about this store. Switching...
Read moreThe pharmacy is a joke. 0 stars. ABSOLUTELY awful. Unless you get 1 of 2 nice people at the counter. Last time I went to fill my script, they told me it would be ready in a few hours. Came back later, it wasn't ready. I was confused so I said something like "But you said to come back at 4" AND THEN this angry, very rude older lady, barked at me, and then told me that it wouldn't be there until a few days. A few DAYS.
So I asked if she knew which day, and she very loudly and rudely snapped/yelled at me that she didn't know when, and wrote me off like I had just uttered the most taboo thing a human could say {I'm really soft spoken, and people have trouble hearing me) I need this medication daily. And I get snapped at for a mistake THEY made. For asking a question. I get having a bad day, but this is not the first time either. it's consistent.
My boyfriend was on hold for an hour, got hung up on. Had to call again, was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time once again. They are extremely rude and short when they answer, except 2 very nice, competent people.
They get the dates wrong on the bottles. How can you screw that up. That's a bit important, don't you think?
Then they sit there and argue with you, make excuses. blame YOU for their mistake. Even if you have the date from the last bottle. They will argue with you, until you call the doctor/insurance.
Just beyond unprofessional and awful.
I've long since switched pharmacy's. NEVER again will I EVER, use this pharmacy. It's the worst experience I've ever had. All I am doing is picking up my medication. !@#$%^& awful customer service there. The rest of the store has really nice people working there, never have a...
Read moreThe pharmacy is by for the worst run in Wallingford. Several times, my wife had calls from them stating that her prescription is ready to be picked up , one of us goes there and we are told it is not ready. Horrible management, we switched to CVS.
Customer service does not exist here. During one of the times, i had to wait for my script, i was told to wait a few minutes and it would be ready. While waiting, suddenly the window closes because it is lunch time. Not once was I told while waiting that the 10 minute wait really was close to an hour because of the lunch break. Someone should have told me that it wouldn't be ready for an hour, good communication is also what makes customer service successful, that this a trait that is not what this location is known for .......
If you are looking for a pharmacy in Wallingford, I'd suggest that you send it to CVS or Walmart over this location. Hands down, this is the...
