I had an appointment at 1:30pm for a one hour full body massage ($50) with a female therapist. I called and asked if I can actually show up earlier at 1pm and they say yes. When I go in I tell the manager I am here for my 1pm appointment. The manager then asks me what type of massage I want and I tell him I want the #2 package which is a 1 hour full body massage ($50). He brings out a MALE therapist ready for me. I tell him "No I asked for female". All the staff in the front start to laugh, and the manager asks a female therapist to help me. Already I felt disrespected and disappointed that they did not have my appointment details written down even though I called ahead of time. To make it worse, the female masseuse I had gave me a 1.5 hours massage ($75) instead of the 1 hour ($50) I had asked for TWICE (on the phone and in person), and they forced me to pay the $75 even though I never asked for that long of a massage. Unfortunately during the massage I did not know it was going over an hour since you do not have your phone on you while you are being massaged. I trusted them to give me what I asked for. No matter how many times I explained that I told the manager I only asked for the #2 package which is the 60 minute full body massage, they did not believe me. If they had bothered to write it down when I called or when I told them in person, they would have had record of what I asked for. They even called the manager to get clarity, and he told them I asked for the 90 minute massage, which is not true. I fought back saying I shouldn't pay for something I never asked for. Three ladies ganged up on me forcing me to "just pay for the extra minutes so you can leave". They do not let you leave unless you pay the extra cost even though you did not ask for a longer service. If they look at their camera footage of when I first go in they'd see that I even gestured to the manager "#2" with my fingers and I pointed at the 1 hour massage option on their actual paper menu. But they do not bother to check and they do not keep any written record of the service you asked for before going in for the massage.. This is how they steal money from their customers! I am so upset and disappointed with this business. Please do not come...

I have been doing the "foot massages" now for about 12 years. My bff and I have been EVERYWHERE trying to find the best foot/body massages (vacation spots out of town).. Since we live in the area, we have tried places like Massage on Colima to Wi Spa Massage and also many places in O.C.. and Alhambra/Monterey Park. My bff and I have both agreed that 1) Cleanliness 2) Experienced masseuse 3) Shiatsu style massages 4) Fair prices 5) Communication and ease of getting appointments are our top priorities in choosing our place to receive the massages. By luck, my bff came across Imperial Massage and we have been going there for about 2 years now. Tina, the owner is always kind and happy to schedule and accommodate our needs. We always receive consistent and excellent massages. We both have our preferences in who does our massages (Lee and Eric) and they are always there to get those painful knots out of our neck and shoulders. This is not the place for you if you want a soft rub down massage. Masseuse here are trained to get those knots out and it hurts but let's just say, they are excellent in the "hurts so good" massage. In the end, you will feel like a new person because all those knots and toxins that have gathered in those shoulders, neck or wherever you have pain have dissipated away. For all the new people trying it, just tell your masseuse softer or not so hard if it becomes too unbearable. They may chuckle but they won't mind holding back. You need to then keep going back so you get used to kneading out those knots and toxin out. Believe me, those knots and toxins cannot be good for your health and everyday livelihood. I wish I could go every week but work and family schedule is hectic so it's every 3-4...
