This place is not consistent with there food sometimes the food is good sometimes it's awful . So I complained two times about the same thing my rice. I also spoke to the owner, and she brought it upon herself to prepare my food...”it was worst.” I topically would stick to the same order most of the time shrimp fried rice and the orange chicken, now the problem I had with the rice most of the time was it was overly cooked with egg shells, with the orange chicken sometimes the pieces would either be to big or there wouldn't be enough orange sauce leaving the chicken dry.... Mind you that I have been going to this location on and off for years, spending at least $40-$65 each time. One thing I do know is they change off chefs, but either way it's not fair to us customers(.) Also If you complain they will refuse your business. Be aware of what I'm letting you know about this Bussiness- save...
Read moreThey got the flavor and portions down as far as the pad see ew with beef and the crab fried rice. Many places don't get the crab fried rice the way I like. If you've been to president Thai in pasadena ca they make their's the same way. Only thing I wasn't as impressed with was the chicken satay. Other Thai restaurants well obviously before the pandemic would give you big juicy skewers of meat. The satay came peanut sauce & cucumber salad both good but the meat was on the dry side and real skimpy. Remind me of when you're cutting up boneless chicken and you just use the scraps on a stick lol. I wouldn't get it again. There's alot of Thai around here hit and miss but because 2 of my favorite Thai dishes are prepared to my liking here I'd definitely order again. Like for real the pad see eww even the broccoli mixed in was good lol . I know some places use bok choy but i like...
Read moreCozy, family-owned Thai restaurant that’s been long-standing in Walnut. My family and I have been coming here for reasonably priced, tasty Thai food. It’s in the Vons complex so there’s plenty of parking and booths inside. We ordered takeout for lunch on a Tuesday and the food was ready in 25 minutes. They take credit cards ($10 minimum), otherwise there’s a fee if your order is less than $10. Their weekday lunch specials are a good deal as there’s plenty of food (enough so that you can have leftovers for the next day). It comes with a small side salad and fried or steamed rice. The pad thai is my go-to, and comes with chicken and one shrimp. The pad see ew isn’t on the lunch special menu but the regular price is still under $10, and it’s a...
