This has been an absolute horrible experience and I will no longer do business with this company. I purchased an appliance marked down due to a few dents. Upon scheduling delivery of the appliance I gave all the applicable information, address, unit number, and that there was an existing appliance to be removed, which they ensured would be. On delivery I showed the individuals the old appliance and he instantly says "No". He emphasized that the appliance would not fit and could not be extracted. I informed him, "after actually measuring the appliance" that it would fit. But he clearly did not want to export the appliance due to opinion. I later called a junk removal company that actually did the due diligence of measuring and ensuring the appliance would be removed safely and confirmed that it could be extracted. I then called this appliance company back and spoke to the owner, Allen, whom I relayed that the appliance can and should be removed by them, since I paid for the service prior to buying the new appliance. Speaking to him was an utter disaster, as he was rude and would not allow me to talk or further explain the situation. His tone was aggressive and not at all respectful to a customer. He angrily stated false facts such as my ceilings were too low, and the delivery drivers had to be safe when extracting the appliance. Mind you, the new appliance is roughly the same size (+/- 3inches) and I have high ceilings. Also as I told him, the delivery driver did not even measure the dimensions. Since the appliance was cash and carry I was not able to be refunded so I went forward with having junk remove the appliance (at a fee). The following day, when the delivery drivers from this company imported the new appliance they, 1) Did this in a dangerous and erratic fashion. Please see the picture as one of the individuals "literally has the appliance on his spine" as he goes up the stair case. And 2) Forcefully threw items out of the way (without communication) and insisted I take the door off of the hinges, which is their job. Now let me remind you that Allen, instead of speaking in a respectable manner, explicitly stated that his delivery drivers could not take the old appliance because they needed to be "safe". Not only were they not safe but they scratched the surfaces of the walls and corners since clearly one of the individuals was not even looking were he was going. They further dented the appliance, regardless of cash and carry. And as you can see it is not even covered or made secure. They did not wear "gloves" so I have scuffs and marks since they were using their bare hands to carry an appliance such as this. As I stated earlier, Allen on the phone losing his cool, stated that these individuals needed to ensure their safety and that nothing would get damaged. This was one hundred percent not true! If you are thinking of buying an appliance please exercise your other options. Best Buy and Target are right down the road in Watertown. Even though these companies are corporations, they will ensure peace of mind with things like warranties, delivery, and overall experience. Small warehousing companies such as Allen's second hand store only exist because individuals like myself want to buy local, but I would emphasize that the discount is not worth it. You will end up paying in other ways.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY: Purchased a washing machine from here 4 weeks ago. The installers neglected to inspect the water connection (which were also newly purchased from Warrendale) and turns out the hose had been leaking for 4 weeks. The installers also left my house a mess leaving their trash from the installation and when they just recently returned to replace the leaking hose. Warrendale Appliance takes zero responsibility for providing a faulty hose. I am now left to clean up mold from the installation and pay for a plumber to pull disconnect the gas dryer. The guy was a jerk on the phone talking to me like it's my fault that I haven't cleaned the mold yet and I could hardly get a word out without him talking over me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE, USE A COMPANY THAT WILL ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! Reply to your Response: Your reply says it all. It is appalling that you think it is unreasonable to suggest that your company is responsible for remediating water damage that was caused by products your company provided and installed which caused damage to my home. Yes, it took 4 weeks to notice that there was a slow leak coming from the hose, since there was no noticeable damage until then. I am not asking you to 'clean my home', I am asking you to remediate water damage that was inflicted by a product that was provided by you and installed by you. As far as a 'verbal assault' on your employee, this is 100% FALSE INFORMATION. When speaking to your employee, I was attempting to voice my problems and concerns. While I was speaking, your employee kept interrupting, talking over me, so in order for me to be heard, I raised my voice to complete one single sentence. At no point did I 'verbally assault' your employee and shame on your employee for providing FALSE information. If anything, your employee was speaking to me in an insulting and derogatory manner. Upon purchasing the washing machine, we were instructed by Howard to buy replacement hoses to avoid a problem with leaking gaskets in the hoses, as it usually occurs when you keep the old water lines. Welp, so much for preventing that problem. I stand behind my review and shame on you and your company for not taking accountability for damaging my home. I guess spending $1200 with a company means absolutely nothing.

We had always gone to Warrendale for our appliances, unfortunately we won't anymore. The microwave & trim kit we bought in the beginning of June is still not right. It has been quite the saga. The microwave works, but the trim kit is imperfect with discolored corners (as far as I know they only sell new appliances and not seconds). We were told upon install that I would be able to clean the trim kit and it would be fine(not sure why the installer didn't attempt to clean it). This was not the case, I phoned Warrendale & sent photos and was told to try a different cleaner. I then went into the store and Nick told me I could buy the cleaner they sold(he treated me like I didn't know how to clean). Finally a different trip into the store Nick gave me a packet with a cloth to shine the stainless (Mind you, no apologies for any of the inconvenience). It did not solve the problem. About a month after the kit was installed(end of July) I went to the store and he (Nick) believed me this was a defect and gave me a 2nd kit and I was told the installer would be in touch with me. Finally, the end of Aug. the installer came and went to install the replacement trim kit I had been given end of July. That too was damaged. I was told that one would be ordered, and the item apparently is still back ordered. The saga continues 4 months after the initial purchase. There has been zero customer service on this. No apologies. I would not recommend spending your money at this establishment. I regret trying to shop local on this one.

Today I heard on WRKO radio that Warrendale Appliance is having a store wide sale up to 70% off on floor models. We paid full price on a Queen washer floor model days ago and the sensor on lid doesn't work with natural closing. We have to force all edges in place to get it started to wash for each wash. Not to mention the hours trying to figure out why the blue lights were flashing. The quick start manual didn't have troubleshooting for the lid. They offered to have a guy come out and fix it. I thought the general rule, floor models are discounted and they also mentioned it in their advertising? This floor model we didn't know how long it was a floor model & how many people opened and closed it their own way. Do your research, these companies range in prices. Sometimes the delivery date is out a few weeks or longer. Warrendale could deliver quickly so we chose them. Rick said, "Warrendale is the largest Queen distributors in the area." So if they are why didn't they have more washers in stock? One star rating is for the quick and efficient delivery. One star rating is for the store model Queen dryer. Total two stars!! I would be happy to give them a better rating if my lid is fixed and discounted or we get a brand new Queen washer replacement as I did asked Allan Rogers (owner) and Rick (sales) recently. Also said, can you bring this floor model back to its place? Thanks for reading and hope it helps the next customer.

6/13/2023 Soon after writing this review, here's Allan response by email: ''Linda, when the washer is in stock we will advise you and swap . Approx 2 weeks maybe sooner.

Follow up: 7/6/2023 Rick just called and the delivery date now is July 11th for the new Queen washing machine.

Follow up: 8/8/2023 Thank you Harry for your comment.

Yes, the brand new Queen washer has been installed and the model washer was removed from our home. The Speed Queen washer and dryer commercial heavy duty machines are the best in the business! We are very happy with the designer look, multiple wash cycles, performance and with high efficiency of these machines. Finally the amazing brightness and cleanliness of the clothes can't be beat! Our preference was the top loader with agitator style washer. These systems have quieter operation and maximum energy efficiency. Now my star rating goes to...
