I sometimes don't find what I go in looking for, but I rarely walk out empty handed. Pretty much everything is on "sale" and you get coupons so often it doesn't pay not to shop there often. I don't like going in during the holidays because the lines are horrendous, but I feel the clothes are nice and great quality for work and casual wear. I can get a bargain on brand name clothing for the grandchildren on the sale racks, too, so I stock up all year for birthdays and holidays. While you can often get better deals online for certain non-clothing items, if you have a 30% off coupon, you can't beat it. Plus, sometimes I just like to walk into a store and touch an item to see and feel the quality of the product and not be surprised to find it was actually junk they made sound like treasure in the description. Plus they have periods of Kohl's cash, where you earn cash to spend on your next trip. I bought a beautiful, expensive top the other day which ended up costing me $10 after my $10 birthday bucks and 30% off...
Read moreJust came home from shopping at kohls. Overall store looked a lot cleaner and organized except the shoe clearance section. That section had missing shoes from boxes or 1 shoe and no box, especially in the kids section. None of the clearance shoes where by size so you had to search thru. But the worst was checkout, only 2 cashiers which now have to take all returns because the customer desk only does on line pickup. There are self service machines but everyone who used them had an issue and a manager had to come over. The one cashier had an issue with a return so 2 other "managers" had to assist which held up everything. Do instead of moving to customer service they chose to make us all wait. When I complained to the "manager " so looked at me like I had 5 heads and never said a word. Now you know why people are using Amazon or just online shopping. Worst experience ever at kohls and...
Read moreI had a $10.00 coupon (Kohls Bucks) and it said if you make a purchase by January 1 you get an additional 15% off, so I went on January 1, only find out that the most popular name brands (in my case Nike + a lot of others) aren't available for this discount. I asked the cashier (after waiting for some time in line) where does it say that on the coupon and she pointed to the tiny tiny print on the back side of the coupon. Come on, really? So none of the name brands qualify for the discount, so what's the point? I do like their selection of men's clothes and shoes and you can get good deals sometimes (check the sale racks) but the whole coupon thing just left a bad taste in my mouth about this place as I felt it was deceptive. So, if I go there again, I'll have to bring my magnifying glass and only buy the things THEY say get a discount and not the stuff YOU really...
