Went 3 times and still haven’t eaten there. The first and third visit, they were out of hoagie rolls. That’s right, the business has the word “hoagie” in its name but for some reason if you show up after 5 pm, you’ll be sorely disappointed. And it wasn’t just us, another customer tonight told us it happened to him a few days ago also. Sorry but a cheesesteak on a wrap, just isn’t a thing. The second time we attempted to try out the place was a Saturday. We pulled up at 6:30pm, just to find that they close at 5pm! 5p’ is insane! People do still eat out on weekends!! I think the gods just don’t want us to try this place and since you’re reading this, it may be telling you the same thing. Finally I get it, this kind of thing happens, especially with a new business but it shouldn’t have happened more than once especially for something as easy as bread- JUST BUY EXTRA! A lot extra!! It’ll still be good for a few days. And when you open your doors and send customers away, offer them a coupon to come back and try them out. If not the first time, especially after hearing this is our third attempt. You’ve got to offer something to get us to come back a fourth time. Poor customer service on full display. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! BHS is doing it RIGHT! The quality of their hoagies brings me back to a real sub shop. They don’t skimp on ingredients and truly cater to your taste buds.

I applaud them for being so new, yet having the appearance in their work of a seasoned restaurant. Everything was quickly made with the friendly staff sharing their pride in the shop. What’s more is the heart in this small family business. Clearly they are passionate about the store and doing a great job accommodating their customers while still maintaining the element of family. Cudos all around! I loved that they even named some sandwiches after family members. What a sweet touch to remind everyone that this is a real family!
