I unfortunately would not recommend having a party here. The communication wasā¦. not good to say the least.
-When I originally booked a party I was told the smallest package would work fine and I could add additional money to the arcade cards days before the party, and I could have the party room. Near the arcade and bowling area⦠which would be the second activity.
A week later I was called and told the party room, that I was to be in, was booked and my party only provided for a tables.
I came in 3 days prior to my event and viewed the area. **During my visit I asked about additional money being added to the arcade cards for the kids. I was told the cards only allowed the kids to play on the green light games. I asked how they would be able to play on all the games. I was told I would need to add the additional money the day of the party. I agreed money would be added the day of the party.
-The day of my party, when I walked in 30 minutes prior to that start of my party. I was told I could have the party room and they had their date for my party mixed up.
**I asked one of girls assisting the party if the arcade cards were available yet⦠(this was15 minutes into my party time). I was told they were still being loaded. I asked to ensure they had additional money as I discussed with one of the young women when I came in 3 days prior. The party assistant agreed it would be so we waited. My guest (5/6 year olds) were provide the arcade cards about 30-45 minutes into the party. When my daughter started to play I noticed a balance of only $7.00 was available on her card. I go to the front desk and ask if the additional amount was added to the cards and was told it was not and every card would need to be collected as they have to load each one. I tracked down every 5/6 year old to have them āre-loadedā. This āre-loadingā took about 15 minutes which in small childās world it took about 2 hours. When the kids were finally able to play only the green light games worked.
Pizza was suppose to come out at 3:15,again this is for waiting 5/6 year olds. 3:40 the pizza arrived. No assistance was provided with passing out drinks or pizza by the Rigby staff, I was told the pizza was really hot to be careful. Thankfully I had my teenagers able to help me.
Our second activity was bowling. When I arrived assistant advised they would roll up the rolling door so the kids would have access to the private lanes and the room at the same time and the would keep the private lanes available for the kids.
I had to go back up to the front to ask for bowling to be turned on. I was told I would need to collect every party guest arcade card so they could swipe each oneā¦again in order for the kids to play. I declined as some guest had left and due to the age of the guest some had lost their card as it was empty from the arcade. That was for me frustrating that it was not setup prior instead of the need of swiping and re-swiping of the cards or any of this communicated to me.
The lanes were not user friendly and again no assistance was provided by the staff.
We were suppose to have two private lanes. We were given only one. Adult guest were put right beside my small guest of 5/6 year olds
-My guest did not receive the gift box as guaranteed in the party package. -No additional balloons were provided, however I did bring my own. -No date night voucher was provided to me. -No birthday button was given to my daughter.
The party was planned for 2-4 and did not end until 5:30. This was not because the kids continued to play it was simply because of all the delays.
Did I complain there, no I had missed so much of the party going back and forth to the front I didnāt want to miss anymore and by the end I was frustrated
My daughter did not notice all the issues and had fun. However as a host my guest leaving with no goodie bag and not having an alternative for them myself felt horrible. The party contract does lot allow any goodie bags or they will charge you additional 50.00 so I thought Rigbyās would handle this and...

Pros:
Back in October my son and I went with my friend and her son for his birthday. Our son's are both 7 and 8. We went to skate, utilize the arcade and the bar for us moms. It was a pretty good time, generally, except for a few things I'll detail below in "Cons". All of us enjoyed it, mostly, until we got too tired to keep skating.
Staff that were friendly were great and I appreciate them. The young ladies at desk where we first payed for our skating passes were cool.
Discount on summer beer brands (Voodoo Rangers) because they wanted to get rid of them. Got a bucket of beer to share for a decent price.
Several staff were dressed up in Halloween costumes and I love that. Makes it more fun and less like just an establishment where the goal is to get money from customers. Have a little fun while working, you know?
Cons:
Expensive arcade but kids enjoyed spending parents money on the games, of course, lol.
I hope the owner reads this and I heard from someone in Dublin, GA that said she knows him that he's a pretty decent guy so š... So, Rigby's had a tag with ball game (forget what you call that) scheduled on the rink twice during the night we went. All ages were allowed to participate. They should change this because there were several teenage young men there who staff lady in charge of game gave the balls to and these young men were all REALLY good at skating...quick and "ruthless" in tagging out ppl on the court. I am an athletic middle aged mom of a young son and I own my own roller blades and use them regularly and I had no chance. Other in shape athletic parents who know how to skate well, also, had no chance. Kids had no chance. Anyone who wasn't a young teen or young adult boy had no chance to win or even make it past first two rounds, barely. My son and another child got really upset because they didn't get the ball when they specifically asked the staff lady if they could be taggers (be "it"). I know not everyone can be "it" and I tried to explain that to my son but I noticed at the same time that none of the younger/elementary school aged kids were getting chosen to be "it" but many raised their hands to get picked. Should have just started out the game with taggers pre-selected or something. And my son got tagged out right away, as did all other young kids, that I saw. I figured the staff lady didn't want to give young kids the balls because they might be more prone to getting injured trying to keep up with older and more adept skaters. I am ok with that sentiment but...
If that is what it was, then Rigby's should just have two separate games...one for all those over a certain age, like, idk, how about, 15? and one for younger crowds or for kids only or all under age 15. To reiterate: make two separate games based on age (one over 15 and another 15 and under or choose some age as a cut off) OR at very least, based on size. And encourage ppl to consider their skating abilities before participating alongside fairly seasoned teenage skaters. Something different should be done with organizing the games on rink, that's my main point, here.
Respectfully, I think you should reconsider prohibiting outside non-alcoholic drinks and then charge an arm and a leg for your in house drinks. Not food, just drinks.
Some staff seemed a little clueless (maybe busy and not organized?) about what was going on with ordering food or alcohol from inside and not out at the bar. Had to stand there for several minutes waiting to find out if someone could help us with buying alcohol before they told us we needed to go to the bar to do it and that was my first time there so I didn't know that until...
I want to give five stars so bad. STORY TIME My family and I had a blast. However the treatment I received from Rachel (she said her last name was Rigsby), was subpar and offensive. We entered the lobby area to buy the game cards. We approach the kiosk and I mistakenly purchased 5 cards with 40 bucks each on them. So I paid upfront 200 bucks. I took a mental note as my kids were excited to play. My youngest who is four played a total of two arcade games (about 5 bucks), and my oldest who is eight played no arcade games and chose to skate for the entire time. The skating is 12 bucks. My two sisters had cards one used NO money at all, and the other chose to skate the entire time. So, myself, my sister, and my two boys went skating. We only used about 50 of 200 dollars on these games cards. I check the entertainment website and I do not see a āno refund policyā listed for the ENTERTAINMENT CENTER. I politely approach the front desk and ask for a refund of the monies. The first employee takes my bank card and the 5 game cards and approaches another employee, they BOTH agree it should be refunded. Insert a male supervisor, he doesnāt really say anything but goes to grab Rachel (again I donāt know if her last name is Rigsby, but she said it was, and she called herself the owner). Rachel tells me thereās a strict no refund policy even as a courtesy for a mistake. We have a nice nasty back and forth (calmly, Rachel was pointing her fingers in my face). I explained what happened, and why I didnāt immediately request help from the start. I never thought it would be so difficult for a refund. I scoured their website for a refund policy to no avail as of this date. Rachel says there is no one there today that can issue a refund. I asked Rachel if she can give me the contact information or some form of security to let me know when they will be available. She then says there is no one available. All this after at least 3 employees saw no problem. The kiosk are glitchy as Rachel had to call for help just to print a receipt for me, it kept spinning and loading. Then she says ājust because you have a receipt doesnāt mean you can go to your bank to dispute itā. Rachel I was making you do your job, but that was a very racist remark to make, especially after I know you can be courteous and give a refund for a MISTAKE. I wonāt be returning and now Iām stuck with $150 in rigsbys arcade game cards. If you do not want to randomly be out of $150 please do not visit. There are many other places to visit. But Rachel to your point I did see the āno refund policyā for WATER WORLD, thatās why I didnāt purchase THOSE tickets because it was raining today. I havenāt decided if Iām gonna post on TikTok about this yet. Iām just gonna wait and see if I get my money back....
