Visited 7/23 with 2 adults and kids ages 3, 5, 6, and 9.
Parking is easy and free. It’s a short walk from the lot/field to the entrance. The entrance to the water park itself isn’t marked with a sign, you enter outside to the far left of the building.
The check in process is flawed. You might find yourself standing in the beating down sun in a long line if you pre-purchased online. If you don’t have the credit card and ID that you bought online with YOU'RE NOT GETTING IN. Even when you “list” the names of the people in your party, doesn’t matter. I gave the other half of my party their tickets to get in since they were arriving later - had to walk all the way up to the gate to show my credit card and ID for them to use the tickets. I assume this practice is for charge backs.
There is one concession stand right when you enter. Burgers $8, hot dogs $5, $5 uncrustables pb&j, $5 nachos that are a bag of chips and a sealed cup of cheese. Drinks are $4 for a 16oz fountain or a bottle. Food is fine quality for kids, but the selection is so limited. All food is made from one kitchen inside the complex. Both times we tried to get a burger or hot dog they were completely out.
There is a alcohol drink stand by the main attraction/slides in the park. Long line all day. There is also a mini melts ice cream ($5) by the main attraction, but that’s it. Everything else and you need to hoof it back to the gates for the concession stand.
There is nothing else to buy inside the park other than lockers. No kiosk for sun screen, goggles, etc..
There is a kiddie pool that Is fantastic. 2 feet, 4 little slides. Seating area is small for parents, so plan on either being in the pool or roasting on the concrete if it’s busy. There is a bigger pool, 4ft, with a water fall. Mostly cabanas in this area so seating for parents is also limited.
Main attraction area has plenty of lounge chairs, but most are not shaded. Lazy river is fast moving and a little hectic to get in for smaller kids. Ample life jackets available for all sizes.
Given the concession stand was out of food both visits, we went inside the complex. Waited in a long line and ordered $100 in grub. Waited for a booth to open up (had to buss and clean it ourselves) and sat down. Every person around us stopped a manager to complain they had been waiting 45 minutes plus. The kitchen was extremely overwhelmed feeding the entire complex. Sent the kids to play in the arcade; food took 1 hour and 25 minutes. Food was pretty decent. System for food delivery was basic, but the food runners were auctioning off food when they didn’t know where it went.
I would go back, but not for an entire day. Would go for a couple hours then leave given I now know what a hassle it is to treat the kids to anything other than mini melts. Kids enjoyed themselves and the admission is very...
Read moreOrdered cabana and tickets online prior to visit before arrival on Sat 06/21. Weather expected to be nice, no rain, celebrated baby girl's birthday. I did not buy a package for birthday party, just brought cupcakes, and intended on buying food/beverages from kitchen. When we arrived, it was 95 degrees. I thought maybe purchasing tickets online would make process faster to enter park. Once we arrived, we had to wait in the bag check line due to tickets being online and not in paper form. Line was long and process took a fairly good minute. Had to show ID and card used to purchase tickets before bag can be checked. The issue is that one of the attendants told us if we had printed tickets inside Centre plex, and then came to waterpark, we could have went through without bag check. This is totally backwards for me. Why not have a handheld device that can scan ticket's barcode, and also check bags. Or let patrons know on website to print tickets prior to visit to ensure swift entrance. Secondly, the kitchen was 2 hrs+ behind on ordering food, and attendant stated that if we order, we had to stay in restaurant until order is completed. she stated there is only 1 kitchen that service all 3 entities. I am not sure why the owner/manager did not anticipate the water park would be extremely packed due to weather was great and it serves multiple surrounding counties. No one wants to sit for an unknown estimated time and not enjoy the park that is $40 per person and Cabana for $120 plus, waiting on food already paid for. Even the inside concession stands were out of food for a while and had very limited items. I do understand there is a restaurant, an inside complex, and water park that has to be service, I am sure this was thought of when the waterpark was added. I do understand some cabana's come food service, but everyone does not purchase cabana's with food service, as I did not. The kitchen should have been well staffed and prepared for the anticipated crowd. Maybe some pizza warmers to keep pizza stocked and ready. Overall, we had a blast at the waterpark. Lines for slides were moving fast. Shoutout to the life guards on duty, well attentive, very patient and nice. If some of these concerns are corrected, I think patrons would definitely have an amazing time. I do understand mistakes happens, and it does not stop me from revisiting. My family and I, especially my daughter had a great time. It is worth visiting throughout...
Read moreI visited the water park last week with my 5 year old niece and we had an AMAZING time! The tickets are a little expensive but worth every penny. We went during the day on a Wednesday and I was surprised that it wasn’t crowded at all…and we stayed all day. The park is clean, beautiful, and very safe for smaller kids. My little one was even able to get on some of the big slides and she had so much fun! Tons of chairs and umbrellas around the park so you can always find a place to sit and leave your stuff while you play.
The lifeguards really are the best at this place. They are stationed all over the park so we always felt safe. They are very friendly, nice, and ready to help. I always greeted with a smile and a friendly response whenever I approached a lifeguard. Definite kudos to the park for hiring and training such a young and friendly staff.
The huge water park is great with many big slides and fountains. That was my favorite part. There is also a beautiful pool with a waterfall that my niece enjoyed jumping into. The water in that pool is only about 4 feet. There is also a really cool “kiddie pool” with smaller slides. The water in that pool is only about 2 feet. My niece liked that one the best because she didn’t have to wear her arm floaties in this pool. There is also a lazy river that flows around the complex. It is a very nice relaxing ride. Again, many lifeguards stationed around the lazy river to help in case my little one fell off her tube and/or had issues. Lol! One small improvement could be made here...smaller tubes for the little kids. All the tubes are a bit large and my 5 year old had a hard time staying on.
We didn’t go inside the complex for food or drink, but I had packed a picnic in the car so we just went out into the parking lot to eat and then came right back in. They give you a hand stamp so you can come and go if you need to.
I would love to go back and try the indoor part someday, but the water park is definitely enough fun to fill up a whole day and your kids will...
