The Formal Niche Bridal & Prom — Attraction in Warr Acres

The owner followed us around and made us uncomfortable. The dresses were waaaaaay overpriced for second hand. Yes, some gorgeous things, but at those prices you could buy from J Crew or Dillard's! The owner scowled and got huffy when I giggled at some of the crazy dresses (which is half the fun of formal wear) and continued to bring us dresses waaaaay out of our price range, despite our clear requests. She also look very unprofessional: bra straps hanging out and nasty toes in dirty flip flops. Just not the place you want to go for great formal dresses! Also, the arrangement of the store--just by color--was super frustrating. Had to look at each. and. every dress and price tag to find our size. Tags placed on the INSIDE of the racks so you have to pull the whole dress out to get to the tag. Frustration. Inconvenience. Overpricing. Unprofessional. Discourteous. Save...

I LOVE the Formal Niche! My first wedding dress shopping trip was to David's Bridal, where they constantly pulled things that were not in my budget or size. I ended up returning an $800 dress for a refund because I just couldn't stomach the cost. After my sister bought her wedding dress at the Formal Niche and recommended it, we went for my gown and WOW! So many styles and sizes, and all less than $400. I got to pick my styles by myself, and still got the private dressing area and assistance that I received at David's Bridal. Not only did I LOVE the dress I got from Formal Niche, and not only was it only $300, but even at such a low price they offered a payment plan to make it even more possible. I am so...

Absolutely love this store. Went to Tres Jolie in Edmond and the prices were outrageously high. I have shopped at Formal Niche in the past. My daughters (and I have 4 of them) can almost always find a dress that they love and they are very reasonably priced. They have a wide variety and the store is very organized and clean Courtney, the owner, is very kind and personable. We loved how she wasn’t pushy, or even bothered us while we shopped in peace. She allowed us to browse and take our time. We bought a dress last year for my daughters junior prom and again this year for my daughters senior prom. Very happy experience.
