My wife and I have a goal of visiting all the World's largest roadside attractions in Ohio and this does not dissapoint. Jacques sits outside in the parking lot of the Buckeye Express Diner. (Check out the diner too, converted passenger railroad cars.) Jacques is a 35 foot tall statue that used to represent Jacques Restaurant. The restaurant went defunct years ago and Jacques sat in a field for 50 years, waiting to be reborn. The owner decided to give Jacques new life and he was resurrected in 2022. His head was detached and someone came up with the bright idea of re-attached it with a spring. He is now the World's largest bobblehead. Jacques also has a twin brother in Marblehead, Ohio. They are considered the World's largest "twin" statues. Neat, if you like this kind of thing. I commend the owner for...

Located at the center of the parking lot for the Buckeye Express Diner (which was closed this morning at 6:30 am), the World's Largest Bobblehead is leaning a bit to one side but still stands tall. I don't know if he's truly the "largest" but I'm Bruce K. from Charlotte, not the Guinness Book of Records.

His name is Chef Jacques and for those who don't know, a bobblehead stands atop a model of a human with a spring attaching his head. So the head "bobbles" on the spring from side to side....

If you're in to worlds biggest anything highway stops, probably a good idea to stop here. Easy on and off the highway plus a few eats nearby. I just think this statue is hilarious and has a fun history. The bobble capability wasn't there when we stopped, but he was fun to look at. This little park area has a few vintagey style things to look at, like buffalo and some native American kitsch. Just a good ole American...
