Great Cats Exhibit/Lion and Tiger Hill — Attraction in Washington

In July My family visited the National Zoo. On previous visits we looked for the outdoor cats exhibit as my 3 year old granddaughter and my 5 year old had been asking about it. As we were walking up the small hill at the zoo's entrance I saw a sign pointing to the right toward a slight incline and path. All I could see is what looked to be a unused exhibit area with a bit of lite construction. As I walked towards it & followed the path to the left there were two interactive displays and the temporary cat exhibit in the back. It wasn't very big but it offered the cats a bit of shade and a small space to move around in. It doesn't give them much space to roam around in close to where we were standing.
