A good place to fly RC aircraft. IMO the best place in the area. The people I've met there are generally friendly, helpful and encouraging. There are free training nights on Tuesdays in the summer, which are a great way to get into the hobby. The club offers free flight lessons on Tuesday evenings in the summer. If you are looking to fly your drone at the park, feel free to contact the club and they can arrange to have you fly as a guest. No membership needed for your first flight. A membership to AMA is required to join the R/C club which provides liability insurance along with other perks. Current club membership dues are $60 per year which is one of the lowest of any flying field in the state. Youth memberships are free. The club has over 200 active members who are more that willing to help out any r/c enthusiast who is...

One caveat is that most people are flying airplanes. I so far have only seen ONE other person flying...
