I wasn’t expecting much more than a bed and a TV. It was a nice surprise that there was a microwave and a mini fridge in the room. Also a Keurig coffee maker with caf and decaf coffee available. There were also two bottles of water in the room for $2.00 each. In the kitchenette area there was a small sink. The walls of the kitchenette area were covered with mirrors and there was a full length mirror in the entryway. In the entrance of the room there was a bathroom off to the right with a tub and toilet. Just outside the room was another sink. The room was very large with one queen bed. There was a large 4 drawer dresser and a desk with a chair. The desk also had a mirror. There were also two night stands, one on either side of the bed, both with lamps. The TV was on the dresser across from the bed but it was no more than 42” at best. There was a working remote and a channel list. There were three lamps in the room that provided ample lighting. There was only one switch by the front door that turned on all the overhead lights. There was also one light switch for the bathroom sink light and one light switch for the toilet room light. There was one medium sized window but the drapes did not open to fully utilize all the light that could come through. The room was very clean except for the filters in the heating unit. When I turned on the heat, the room soon smelled like dirty gym shoes and vinegar. I sprayed the filters with hand sanitizer and the smell went away. Otherwise I would have changed rooms because the smell was overpowering. But the heating unit was very quiet. The bathroom was also very clean. Could not see any dirt anywhere. And I looked. There was also a hair dryer in the bathroom sink area. My room was next to the rear exit which I appreciated because I had a lot of stuff to load in and out multiple times. The downside to that was that many other guests were also going in and out of that door, some at 3am. Regardless, I got a good night's sleep. The bed was soft but not too soft. Personally, I prefer an extra firm mattress but it was fine for one night. There was also a closet with a door (separate room) although I did not need to use it, it was quite big, like maybe 8 square feet. All the lamps had USB connectors and outlets so I could charge my phone. There were plenty of towels and a landline phone. The front desk staff were young women and very polite. She had their spiel well rehearsed. When I first entered the lobby, there were two women behind the desk. One was speaking to another employee, who looked like a maintenance worker. The other was talking to a guest. When the woman talking to the employee finished her conversation, she turned her back to me and looked over at the other woman behind the counter. A minute later the other woman finished talking to the guest and came toward me and asked if I was checking in. She quickly found my reservation in the computer and explained the policies and amenities of the Inn. She was polite but a bit robotic. However, check-in took less than 5 minutes. There was breakfast in the lobby but I did not partake. I was told there is a whirlpool but I did not use that either. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and the cleanliness of the Redmond Inn. I would definitely recommend it and I will stay there next time I go to the velodrome which is only 5 minutes away. I was able to get to Marymoor Park easily without going on to any main roads or hitting any traffic lights. Although there was a lot of construction nearby, it was very quiet. The Inn is 18 minutes from the freeway but easy to find if you follow the road along the east side of Lake Sammamish. The area felt like a safe upscale...

I booked this based off the reviews. While it didn't affect the rating as the hotel cannot control this, it is worth mentioning that the property is surrounded by construction right now (June 20222, it is not related to the property that I can tell).

The room is relatively clean, but very dated. The bed is clean, the sheets have been bleached so much it makes lots of noise and is incredibly stiff and rough while the pillows smell of perfume of guests of past. It's hard to gauge cleanliness in an older hotel but sometimes that's part of the charm? I booked a long time ago and requested a room away from the elevator, quiet, and not above or near where people congregate to smoke outside as I am incredibly allergic. The building has 3 floors so we did get placed in the 3rd floor but were right by the elevator. I open my door and there it is. It was worth a try! Not a super large place so it is what it is. What is really bothersome is the amount of cigarette smoke. I specifically requested a room with a window that opens as I get a bit carsick and we are coming down from BC back to Oregon. When I asked the front desk, the woman just said, "maybe it opens". It thankfully did. However folks keep smoking outside. Every 15 to 20 minutes. I shut the window but it's not well sealed and the wind must hate me as it has been hours and smells terrible in here. I'm actually allergic so I did call down but the front desk didn't believe the smell would get up here (?) and voiced such. It was already 10 or 11pm and I made an attempt to sleep wearing a niosh n95 mask but my eyes were too itchy and I was getting a rash from the smoke. It was the wrong choice but when you're tired, that happens.

I couldn't sleep because I was so stressed and itchy and had a headache. What a terrible way to end a long but otherwise lovely trip.

We left around 5 or 6am because I was so miserable. I've washed everything now multiple times in an attempt to salvage it from the stench of cigarettes. It was raining during our stay so I think folks huddled closer to the building for shelter than usual because I saw no references to smoke in any of the reviews.

I recognize I'm in the minority with my experience but I really wish someone would have left my comments to spare me the displeasure in staying here. I'm typically the type of person to try and make the best of a situation and I really tried but this was so awful.

The door on my room (303) needs it's lock redone as someone has attempted to open it while it was locked and it's hanging crooked and loose and missing a screw. The pillows need to be soaked in baking soda or vinegar to get rid of all the perfume. The window needs oil (high pitch noises anytime you open or close it) and resealing. I wish so much that I would have just left and stayed elsewhere. It was truly an awful way to end a...

I was told multiple times the manager would reach out to be due to the bad experience but he never bothered or cared to, no accountability and the worst service you can get. Most foul place I’ve ever been to, stole from my room on the last night. Easily one of the worst experiences in my life. The first night, other guests were insanely loud and when I called the front desk the overnight person gaslighted me saying no there is not and we cannot do anything. Second night same situation, I call and same person says they cannot do anything. I give it a little bit of time just hoping the other guests would be quite considering it was almost 1AM on a weekday but they did not. I decided to walk over to the front desk and not even surprised but the front desk person had her friend there and they were laughing and joking. I told her the situation again and she said she could not do anything except for put me in another room so that’s what happened. I went and grabbed all my stuff and went to the other room, when I opened it there was another person sleeping in there and I immediately left. I then tell the front desk person why would you do that? She just says my bad, sorry. She then puts me in another room and boom nothing works, lights don’t turn on and AC does not work. It’s past 1AM and I can’t see anything, I request a new room. I get put into a new room and again the AC isn’t working, after switching so many times at this point I didn’t care. It’s already 2:30AM or so and at 4:30AM construction behind the building starts so all you hear is construction noises. I go do work for the day and come back at around 3PM and my key doesn’t work, they deactivated my key immediately. Between the overnight front desk worker and the up keep of this place, I would rather camp in a tent on a sidewalk. Only the maintenance man...

Had a fantastic stay at the Redmond Inn! As a tour manager for traveling musicians, comfort, cleanliness and security are my top priorities when it comes to lodging, and this hotel more than delivered. We arrived late (around 1:30am) after a show in Seattle, and the fantastic front desk staff already had our rooms ready and keys made, all I had to do was sign a few papers and off to bed! The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, I really appreciated that they have both firm and soft pillows on the beds, making sure that everyone can be comfortable. The well proportioned bathroom had fantastic water pressure, and was sparkling clean! The towels were soft and fluffy, just like I like them :) The cyclist vibe of the entire property was also a neat bonus, it was a perfect conversation starter for me to introduce the Japanese band to US cycling culture. All in all a fantastic property I would definitely recommend to anyone, for business or pleasure!

After checking in, I left my room to pick an order up from the Whole Foods across the street, and when I returned 10 minutes later, my service animal was missing from my hotel room. I was shocked that someone would go into my locked hotel room with a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and take my dog. When I approached the front desk to alert them of the situation, they nonchalantly said "Oh yeah, we took her because she had barked. I suppose we can give her back, if you promise that she won't bark again. Otherwise we will take her for good." What on Earth? I would never expect this from any establishment. I will never stay here again, and I will recommend that my clients never stay here.
