Update: Dear Owner, Respectfully, as a proud supporter of small businesses, I have have no reason to lie. We were late for our engagement because we expected it to be done within 10-15 min. As mentioned, our receipt was time stamped and we walked out with our watches displaying 7:35pm. Our pita bread was missing and our fries were bright white and luke warm in the middle. The menu is very pricy for a fast casual restaurant ($71 for two rice plates, a sandwich, and a side of fries) that ended up being a longer wait than a sit-in. I don’t think it’s ideal for you to simply tell customers they are not honest in response. As you are a small businesses, I can increase my rating slightly, but I would rather go to Tanoor or Garlic Crush from my personal experience. Please take care.
Old: We arrived there on Saturday a night. There was perhaps two people seated and already waiting for their take out, and someone standing idle at the cash register waiting for us to order. We received our receipt for two chicken platters, a side order of fries and one beef gyro sandwich at 7:00pm, according to the receipt. They were moving moving slowly and leisurely until sudden a steady trickle of people came in holding up their phones to present an order either for themselves or to deliver. The workers abruptly started moving quickly and by the time it was 7:25, they handed us a our bag and tried to shoo us away. I noticed the gentleman before us said his fries were missing, so I asked whether our $6 fries were in there. Then they looked back at their fryer and said it's almost done. We finally walked out at 7:35pm. A fast casual restaurant taking 35 min is absurd. We went home to find out our two, $18 chicken platters were each missing their pita bread and our fries were bright white and raw in the center. We had to airfry them for an additional 20 min for them to be cooked. They have poor business practice. Also, as a fan of Mediterranean food, this place was not worth the...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I started coming here about a year ago and have been hooked ever since. The first time we came here we each got one of their plates, and that was amazing. We happened to see someone order a plate of their gyro fries and the next time we came in we ordered that and now we come here about once a month for their gyro fries. The flavors are so good and one plate fills both my boyfriend and I up. We do get extra chicken every time so I’m sure that helps haha!
Everyone who works there that we’ve encountered are extremely nice and the person who I’m pretty sure owns the place is frequently in there working side by side. They are all lovely people and I’d definitely be sad if any of them left because it seems that they put a lot of care into making amazing food and they are so kind. They actually know our order now because we come and get the fries every time but one of these days we do want to try other dishes too, but the gyro fries are just so good and we are creatures of habit.
The owner (I think he’s the owner) came over today and thanked us for our business which I thought was really sweet. He also gave us a dessert to try and I’m not sure what it’s called but it’s delicious so far! I took a bite to try it but we are still too full to eat the whole thing right now. It has a delicious cinnamon flavor though and it’s probable that we will order it at some point one of the next times we go in🤣
We just love this place.
10/10 would recommend and I do recommend this to my friends who live...
Read moreI had an absolutely terrible experience. Felt like I was being treated differently from the other customers. I was not greeted or even acknowledged. When I finally was, she says “what?”. It took them so long to plate my food and bag it, almost felt deliberate. The older woman that is “front of house” would look at me and slow her movement. At one point, a group of 6 came in to order. She completely stopped bagging my already made order to service them, looked at me a few times while doing so and eventually started wiping her nose as she bagged. She grunted me over and puts my bag on the opposite end of the counter, unlike their previous pick up customers (she handed them the bag personally). However, I had to reach over all of the customers at the counter to grab my food. I commented on it and she shooed me away. Overall, terrible experience. I got my money back from DoorDash as she plated my food and bagged it after wiping her nose with an ungloved hand at least twice. I loved the food but the experience will not have me...
