Our favorite DC pool for kids - especially if you've got bigs and littles together!
Best part is the HUGE shallow area. There are two separate shallow entrances, one with a splash feature and one without. Toddlers have a large space to play and wander that's still connected to the main pool where your older kids might be playing.
There are also two water slides, one that lands in a shallow area safe for littler kids, but the slides are closed 90% of the time due to short staffing. If you happen to pop in when a slide is open, five stars!!!!

Very baby-friendly, as the pool has a sloped entrance and a side that’s very shallow, which was so needed since the baby pool was closed most of the season. The staff is so wonderful. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it’s been understaffed - so the features are almost always turned off (the slides, baby pool, half of the pool, all out for every 15 mins of the hour instead of adult swim), but the staff that are there are always awesome. If dc gov could get this place more staffed so that the features could be opened, and we could have adult swim instead of all out, that would make it so...
Read moreThis is a nice pool but its one lifeguard name of David haskins is so disrespectful to kids told my lil nine year old he going put her out if any more water splash on him so i comfronted him about the .situation and he still wants to be rude.so being the person i am i got extrs rude and curse him out because youdont talk to nobody child like he did mine so i felt violated and his pool manager janese harvey comes over calm telling me to calm down. I appologize for cursing out her lifeguard and ask her for the number for whoever is the head. I woll mot stop visiting the pool for a disrespectful lifeguard ..i am pissed cause i had to cut my kids funtime...
