I especially love entering the narthex (which is undergoing renovations now and promises to be beautiful) in anticipation of walking into the nave. It is with awe each time I enter and am surrounded by the magnificent icons (sacred images) of Chris, His Mother Mary, and the Saints. Your eye is pulled in all directions at the beauty. The main priest during Monday night's Holy Week service possessed a lovely spirit. It was a somber time of reflection, but he made us feel warmly welcomed. Love the fact that there are pews!
