Absolutely beautiful here, just got super backed up and crowded during the cherry blossom season which is unfortunately and underwhelming. But still very nice, and the stumpy, iconic cherry tree was removed since 2024

Went to see these beautiful trees in peak bloom on Sunday and they didn’t disappoint. Washington always feels vibrant during this season.

Cherry Blossom is early this year (2024) It peaked around March 20. It still looked pretty by end of March.

This place along with the Japanese lantern (right next to it) and the first cherry tree plaque are located right next to the Tidal Basin in the West Potomac Park. This place is very calm and peaceful with picturesque views of the Jefferson memorial. There are several cherry trees, but since it’s mid December, it is not as delightful a sight as it would be during the Spring. There were not many people when I visited this place. This place is free to visit and open 24 hours. They have information about the history of...

I never imagined I could see these cherry blossoms in the United States, and visiting them brings a sense of warmth. They serve as a monument symbolizing the strong relationship between Japan and the U.S. Definitely...
