When you're visiting this area to see the Lincoln Memorial or any of the other beautiful monuments and parks, it is a long walk to the nearest restaurant, so it is nice that there is a place to get some food and drink. However, it is not that good. I ordered the Black Bean Burger and it was the worst burger I have ever had. The patty was completely dried out and as hard as a rock. The bun was pretty dry too and the thin fries were hard and lukewarm. I went back with the burger, which had probably been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, and to their credit they gave me a new one that was freshly made. It was still pretty bad, but at least this one was hot and I could actually bite into it. The mediocre food is pretty expensive too, but then again this is a premium location and the alternative is to go far for something else, so at least eating here saved us a lot of time. We waited 15 minutes just for them to forget and then throw the bagel in the microwave until it was nuked. Which even then came with an attitude. There was a guy when we came up who had definitely been waiting a minute and they also forgot about his breakfast sandwich.
