Skate Park At RFK Campus — Attraction in Washington

Awesome skate Plaza! A bit outside the city but easy enough to drive to, not sure if public transport goes that way. The parking lot attendant let us in for free since I told him we just wanted to skate for 20-30 mins. It has a quarter pipe on one side and the rest is manual pads, grind ledges, and cement kickers. A massive stair set and handrail and then a little 3 set for fun. Right near the highway too so if your going past or leaving DC it's not really out...

A fantastic skatepark with lots of space and well laid out obstacles. Something for all skill levels here. It sort of feels like a proper SLS competition style skatepark. For some reason though everything (including the floor) has been painted with bright contrasting geometric shapes and colours. It makes it very difficult to see the edge of ledges and drops and stairs.

There were kids riding their skateboards and other activities, but mostly, my sister and I went to the RFK stadium to get fresh fruits and vegetables from the farmer's market. There were other vendors there as well selling all kinds of new and used items. It was a nice visit. If you get the chance, check it out. We...
