If I could rate lower, I would. The owner is extremely rude and not very understanding. Being a woman by myself at a bar, I decided to talk to my friend on the phone while I waited for my to go order. I was asked by the owner to not be on the phone or put on headphones, which I did not have. After a while of contemplating I decided to ask the owner if my conversation was inappropriate or too loud and was told that "this just isn't the place where we want people having long conversations on the phone." I have been to Duffy's for at least a year and have never heard of this before. I was told that signage was coming to explain this new rule, it just wasn't placed yet. It's a no for me. Read moreVisited back in March to watch the Six Nations while I was in town - turns out this specific pub hadn't been open that long, and they have another branch in a different part of the city. Was obviously quite quiet due to the early hour but Noel very kindly kept me fed and watered, and was great craic! Busied up by the time Scotland had sadly gotten beat and by the afternoon there were some people in watching the Premier League too. Fantastic service - hopefully the word spreads...
