Wishing for a better value. I have been to most of these restaurants on the Wharf at least once, and only one of them are worth coming back. Limited menus served like a big buffet at astronomical prices, which doesn't go well for me. I'm looking for delicious tasting food for these very high prices! The Hanks Oyster Bar has good, flavorful seafood dishes and great service. I believe the real estate is so high that these restaurants at this location can't afford to offer you their typical food menus, i.e., PF Chang. Hell's Kitchen food was just ok. They have a sandwich called the Idiot, that which I felt like. It was like a steak and cheese melt with mushrooms. Their crispy salmon dish was over rated, it was dry over sticky rice. I am convinced that you are highly paying for the views and having an eating experience on the Wharf with no flavor at all. Wharf 2 is continuing to open more familiar restaurants. Read moreAccidentally found this sailor’s paradise. How lucky we are!
The facility is the top notch! Beautiful, sleek, modern, architecture design. Clean BR and resort like hot shower are sailors favorite. The marina is conveniently located on wharf street, with many restaurants and shops. This is a pedestrian only street with plenty seating, tables, even lounge chairs available for people to rest, enjoy sun set. Well, the staff here are nice. Jay the manager is quite knowledgeable. Cierra, lead concierge, is amazing. She is lovely, energetic, super kind, warm, knowledgeable and efficient. Within five minutes she made arrangements for me to get our prop cleaned which super important for us, especially before the long trip. How wonderful she is! We are very grateful for her...
Read moreWe loved our stay at Wharf Marina. We actually anchored at the P Street anchorage and used the Wharf Marina dinghy dock. We paid $10 per day and were able to enjoy the entire 1st class facility. Sierra welcomed us and set us up. Ray and Elvy were awesome at the fuel dock. We stayed 5 nights. Our bikes were secure at night as was our dinghy during the day. Next time we cruise into Washington, we know where to stay. Definitely a 5 star facility. Also, I need to add something about Sierra. She's a sweetheart and a pro. She made us feel so welcomed. She took time to show us around and treated us as her most important customers. Everyone at the Marina was first class and friendly, but Sierra...
