I was very disappointed with my recent experience at this farmerâs market. I got there like 5 minutes early although all the vendors were set up and ready, we were told we could not begin shopping until the âofficialâ start time of 2:30. The staff even made us wait until a bell was rung, which felt unnecessarily rigid and frankly a bit patronizing.
As a customer who came to support the vendors and the market, I found this policy frustrating and off-putting. People attend farmerâs markets for the community feel and to support local growers and artisansânot to be treated like children waiting for permission. I hope the organizers reconsider this approach, as it takes away from what should be an enjoyable and welcoming shopping experience. I wish I got the name of this woman who made this type announcement đ˘ so sad what this society has become.. will not support this Farmer Market...
