I've been going there when just a small forest preserve. We'd hang out in park playing, grilling and throwing fresbee with friends as a teenager. Now two fenced in dog parks and fenced in playground for kids. One fenced in area for smaller dogs and the other for larger dogs. There are bags provided, in most cases there maybe some bags that remain, but safer to always bring your own. Not always as clean as it could be and should be... But my dog sure enjoys it there. We do need everyone to help cleanup...

The way the park is divided from small and large dogs is great. The running yard is large, with trees providing shade and with the little hills in them is great excercise for the dogs. Read moreLove this dog park because it is broken up into three sections: an area for small dogs, medium dogs (with an agility course), and for larger dogs. HOWEVER, always watch your pups because I have seen larger dogs jump over the fence. Not to hurt other dogs, simply out of excitement, but always better to be safe than sorry.
