I was shopping at Ross I would say possibly a week ago . I have to say how unprofessional these managers are at Ross . They were yelling at a Hispanic lady and her child to leave the store . They were accusing of her of stealing from what I understood because one the cashiers left a security tag on some shoes . They were standing there saying how they almost clocked out and took it outside but they didn’t wanna catch a “case” . So unprofessional. It was a tall red head heavier set lady and a short black women who were in front of the store yelling at this poor women and her child and The child was crying . Also I was at Ross again on Saturday night and this black bald man I couldn’t catch his name but he is so rude . Yelling at customers to get out the store cause the store was closed . I think he needs some better training if ya ask me or a boot out the door along with the rest of these managers that run the store . I never have had an issue with anyone else all the cashiers and sales people are extremely nice . I hope to see an improvement with the store soon . They as well need more employees on the floor and cashiers . They slave these poor employees and that’s probably why they always have sour looks on there faces ! Give these poor employees a...
Read moreI went yesterday just to waste some time. Hubby and I bought a few things. Not clothing. We go to the register, and there is a big sign "we check receipts." Great, I am ok with that. Security is in front by the registers, watching as people check out. As we are approaching, she is looking in folks' bags. Hubby has the receipt, and I have the bag. She checks the receipt, and I refuse to allow her to check my bag. To me, there is no need. She stood less than 10 feet from us while we checked out. She saw the associate ring up each item, and she saw me pay. She said, "Don't disrespect me." I said no disrespect intended, but you checked the receipt already, and you are not checking my bag. She said I am just doing my job. I asked to see the written policy on that. She said only she was told. I said then it doesn't apply to me if I haven't been shown. I continued on out of the store, assuring her this was not being disrespectful to her, but if that is policy, Ross needs to post that so I can decide if I want to shop there or not. I am never going back to that store again if that is how I will be treated. You watch me check out, and you still want to look in my bag. Heck no!!! Is this an unwritten policy in the Waukegan Ross store or all...
Read more🤠😒🙄😒🙄😒🙄😒🙄😒🙄😒 I will have to say that there are some very good deals inside of the store in Waukegan. I will also say that the employees are overwhelmed by the level of ignorance and grift by some customers in the store.😡 I am saying that there is a certain element amongst certain customers in the store that leave a lot to be desired. I watched individuals take coats off of the rack, try them on, take them off and drop them on the floor. Individuals were opening boxes of toys and dropping them on the floor. Individuals prying open perfume cases and spraying themselves. I don't know where some of these folks were raised, I don't know what kind of values they were taught, but it really disgusted me. 🙄Talking to some of the employees they were equally disgusted and dismayed. I had to get out of the store because I was getting aggravated, 😡I would suggest if you can tolerate a bunch of ignorant people in a madhouse, you can find some very good deals in this particular store. I was also told by one of the employees, the amount of loss by shoplifting is quite extensive and therefore prices reflect that...
