Callahan-Franklin Dog Exercise Area — Attraction in Waukegan

Wonderfully kept dog park. Appears to be pretty new with multiple areas: small dogs, large dogs, agility area, and a section for 1 family at a time…( which i think that is a very novel idea for those families who need to allow their pups to adjust to social situations or just want their pups to enjoy the freedom of being off leash but know there might be incident with other dogs). Only down side is the watering station is outside the pen areas but I assume it would have been harder to put water lines in all 4 areas. Definitely a park worth visiting...

This place is alright. The dog park is not nearly as large as some others in the area, but it is completely fenced in and allows for my German Shephards to run their hearts out! No trails or paths to explore, just a large open field.

Like how it is divided from small dogs and large dogs. All three sections have a good amount of space. I have taken my little dog in the obstacle course and they have a good variety of things.
