Waverly Palace Theatre — Attraction in Waverly

If you're looking to catch a movie quick, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a more immersive experience at a more premium price, consider making the 20-30 minute drive to the Marcus theaters at College Square and Crossroads in Cedar Falls and Waterloo.

This isn't the best movie theatre, but it's decent for the size of town it's in. They usually get all the big movies on opening day, and with tickets a few dollars cheaper than the bigger theaters in Cedar Falls and Waterloo, it's a great option to see new movies and save a few bucks. Auditorium 1 has a much larger screen than auditoriums 2 or 3, so keep that in mind. Tickets and concessions are reasonably priced, at least as far as movie tickets and concessions go. First run movies for good price, but projector bulbs are dark (true for most theaters), while the overhead lights aren't dimmed all the way.
