Bijoux Handcrafted Chocolates is pure magic. This place takes pretty chocolate to a whole new level—each piece is a tiny work of art, hand-painted and almost too pretty to eat (I said almost). Holy smokes, Bijoux is awesome. One stop to this shop and you’ll be ogling away at the jewel-like chocolates. On top of being a woman-owned, family-run and local business, Bijoux really puts bonbons on the map for STL. The chocolates themselves are fun works of art and taste divine; I caved and bought myself some on top of the sets I purchased as gifts for Mother’s Day (bee-themed bonbons for this year’s Mother’s Day). Fantastic handcrafted chocolates! The flavors of this chocolate are like none other. The gourmet fillings make you feel like you are eating the actual dessert (cake fillings have actual cake etc.) Did I mention there is actual alcohol in some of the flavors? The holiday collection was excellent, and I am sure that the all-season flavors are just as good. As if that wasn't enough, the attention to details makes this dessert just as enjoyable to look at...
