I had the most amazing time at Highland Hills Farm. I found this hidden gem on a whim while visiting from New Jersey to see my best friend who works in a nearby town. Matthew and Shelby were so kind and gave me the cow experience of my dreams. Feeding, brushing, and petting the cows was more than I thought I would get out of that impromptu visit. I learned so much about this beautiful breed. I will definitely be back to visit this summer! Thank you for helping this city girl live out her country dreams for a moment! As a part of our honeymoon, my wife and I knew we wanted to find a farm where we could meet some animals and learn more about what it takes to care for them. We found HHF via a quick google search and immediately set the GPS. I attended their first Coffee with Cows event and I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I couldn't have been more in love! It's nestled conveniently close to Sylva, and the cows and donkey are extremely friendly. The chickens are also friendly - if you're down to share snacks.
