This apartment building looks nice on the outside but was clearly built too quickly and leased in a rush. There are cracks in the walls in a building less than a year old and other aspects of the apartment seem to be slapped together and not properly inspected prior to move in (see pictures attached).
We live on the 15th floor and were surprised to hear construction on the roof in the middle of the workday with no notice—only after we reported this to management was an email sent out informing us that solar panels were being installed for the next week, making it impossible for my partner to work from home and for me to sleep after my night shifts at the hospital. The elevators are frequently down without notice, usually due to an errant fire alarm going off (this happens frequently, either in the middle of a work day or at 3 in the morning), and more than once I’ve had to climb 15 flights of stairs with groceries in hand.
Furthermore, the pool and hot tub are only open 3 months out of the year but our lifestyle fee (in addition to the egregious rent) stays the same all year round. The hot tub hasn’t been working for a week and when I asked for a partial refund on my lifestyle fee to compensate, I was met with a resounding no. Residents weren’t even informed the hot tub was broken until after I told management myself. Finally, there have been three “random inspections” in the last month, with no reason given for the entering the apartment—I feel like I’m in college being monitored by RAs.
This building doesn’t care about its residents, it only cares about taking every dollar it...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of working with Andro during my leasing experience at Hoboken Point. From the very beginning, Andro demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable.
Despite the building still being under construction, Andro arranged a comprehensive tour, allowing me to envision my future home. His knowledge about the property and attention to detail during the tour were impressive, giving me confidence in my decision to lease here.
Andro's communication skills are truly outstanding. Throughout the process, he kept me consistently updated about the move-in date, addressing the uncertainties of construction with transparency and clarity. He was always quick to respond to my questions, providing thorough and helpful answers. This level of responsiveness made me feel valued and reassured that I was in good hands.
Moreover, Andro's genuine care and commitment to ensuring a smooth leasing experience were evident in every interaction. He went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and preferences, making me feel like a priority. His friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.
I am incredibly grateful for Andro's assistance and cannot thank him enough for his hard work. He is a true asset to the Hoboken Point team, and I have no doubt that his efforts significantly contribute to the property's appeal. I highly recommend Andro and the team to anyone looking for a new place...
Read moreI’ve been dealing with a constant noise problem from the apartment above me; heavy thumping and stomping every single evening (and handful of early mornings too). It’s been months, and despite countless emails and calls, this issue is still not resolved. I’ve lived here for about six months, and this is already the second major noise issue that’s been dragged endlessly without any real action.
I expect management to finally take decisive, hands-on action: either call the upstairs neighbor directly and make them aware of the constant floor impact noises, or send someone to my unit for 30–45 minutes to experience what I’m going through daily. Maintenance has already confirmed it’s not from my apartment. The noise source is clear, yet no one has properly confronted the situation.
At this point, I’m completely exhausted. I’ve been getting nothing but cookie-cutter policy responses while I’m unable to relax or focus in my own home. I literally dread coming back from work because I know the disturbance will start again.
I’m honestly ready to tip anyone who can fix this, that’s how bad it’s gotten. If this still doesn’t get resolved, my next step will have to involve law enforcement, which I’ve been avoiding only out of respect for the management so far.
This situation has crossed all limits. I’m asking senior management to step in now and take responsibility. Please stop passing this around on email loops and act immediately; this...
