Nice park for kids of all ages. The playground seems to have been greatly expanded this year, I don't remember it being there last year when we went to the beach across the street. You have to pay a fee for the tennis courts, but the skate park is free. Bummer that there are no bikes allowed in the skate park, only skate boards and roller blades. The skate park closes at dusk, I guess the playground is available during the live music concerts which sounds like a good option, although not sure what the lighting is like at night. I didn't go to the fields, but they look like they're a good size. Live music concerts are also free, the schedule is posted at the park. All signs direct you to visit the wellfleet-ma.gov website for information, but the website is cumbersome to navigate on a cell phone. The office has a bathroom available although they close earlier than the skatepark, otherwise there is a sign on where the port-a-prices...

One of the guys that works in the rec department (Angel) has no idea how to speak politely to people. Totally inconceivable how the town of wellfleet could have such a disgrace working for them. The monitor often comes to reprimand me for throwing a fisbee or using a scooter. (Even though I assured him I would stop if anyone else showed up).It makes sense to me why the place is EMPTY.
