Had to ask the other employee Mary's name since she refused to tell me. Nametags should be a thing for this reason! Why is Mary the manager still employed she is extremely un happy and very rude. Everytime she is working it is like we are bothering her and she tells you by her facial expressions, rude verbiage. She us never nice, not patient, you try to ask her a question about a product she gets so upset I do not understand what is her deal. I have also heard nothing but bad things as far as community members shopping here and her continued rudness as well. Please tell me a corporate number to call to have her evaluated if she hates her job so much she should find another. This is an ongoing reoccurring thing at this location with this .manager . We should all feel welcomed in this store as we are the customers spending money. We are happy five below is here so be happy you are working in this economy. Their is a short hair colored hair lead or assistant who is extremely professional, very caring, friendly, nice. Mary could take notes from her. Please promote this lady she has patience, smiles, politeness and brings joy to this store. We appreciate when she is working makes us shoppers feel wanted to spend money, welcoming. Store is never stocked much for new items have to go travel to other stores probably because they are short staff. Maybe they would keep staff if Mary wasn't so mean, rude....
Read moreI have been in this five below only a couple of times, and I wouldn’t consider it the worst experience, but it is not very organized or professional…
Every time I come in, it’s always cluttered, there’s always a backdoor/office door open and accessible to anyone in the building, which I don’t blame the employees for, but i wish it was more convenient to look through the items I’m looking for.
But what catches my attention the most is the check out process. It seems that every time you want to check out, you can’t check out by yourself and you have to have the employee check your things out. There are also signs on every self-check out that tell you to wait for assistance. I can understand in a situation of theft but it feels a bit inconvenient for those who want to pay and go, especially after the transaction they make you rate your experience right away. I was kind of shocked to be required to rate the experience. It doesn’t feel right to me.
(By the way, I do not blame the register clerks for this behavior, I’m sure their just doing what they’re told is suitable customer behavior at Five Below, I just think it’s the store itself and how it’s managed...
Read moreVery disappointed. The store was rather messy and none of the shelves were organized. We were greeted with an unhappy worker. There weren’t many employees in the store but the ones who were working were very mean. After an incident where something fell over the shelf the worker yelled at me, and as I apologized and tried to explain it was an accident she gave me a dismissing look, and swore at me. Very unprofessional. As we continued to walk around the store she gave us mean looks, and talked about it to her coworker right in front of us saying “we were bullshitting.” What she didn’t let me explain was that I was right on my way to pick it up. Driving away, she flipped us off through the store. Overall the entire store was very disappointing with a disgusting environment and unprofessional workers. Also it kind of...
