I've been going here for over a year at this point, and I don't leave disappointed. My usual nail tech is Cecelia (but, Mennie and the rest of the technicians are awesome, too and have gotten great work done with them). I love her for both manicures and pedicures. I usually alternate between almonds and squovals, but lately I've been into the stiletto look and Cecelia has been doing such an awesome job. The photos posted are my nails from March 2024 - August 2024. :) I'm always getting compliments on my nails :) I'm also really thankful for this salon - When I came in last year in May, the previous salon I went to really ruined my natural nails with poor application of acrylics - to make it worse, I didn't ask for acrylics, I wanted hard gel... Anyway, when I went in, Mennie's husband was the one taking care of me that day, and let me know what happened and told me to go with dip to help the nail get stronger and healthier. Also, provided me with other nail tips/tricks. Since then, my nails have become SO strong and healthy and I'm able to use my natural nails instead of getting artificial tips. My nails never break or feel flimsy. I'm really happy here. :) Thanks a bunch, everyone!
Oh, pro tip - definitely call and schedule an appointment. They do get booked up really quickly, and although they do take walk-ins... it's just easier on both staff and customer if you're scheduled in. :) Personally, I've never had to wait when I go in as scheduled. I get taken in and worked on immediately.
Price is between 80-100 because I always do gel pedicure and dip powder manicure at the same time like...
Read moreI’ve never had an experience like this in my life. I’m utterly disappointed. My friend and I both made appointments to get full set of acrylic nails expecting to pay between 50-60 dollars for the service. When we sat in the chairs the process began smoothly and the staff was kind and respectful… as soon as it came time to apply the acrylic they told us that they do not do acrylic nails because it is bad for the nails and that they only do “gel extensions”. I looked over at my friend and her nail tech was brushing a thin liquid on her nail and when she put it under the lamp, my friend complained of severe pain. My nail tech scooped a thicker gel out of a bottle and put two coats on my nail before the lamp which also cause me a lot of pain. At this point my friend began asking questions. She asked how much her total was and the tech said that it was 80 dollars and continued to make up random prices for the designs with a service totaling in 120 dollars, more than double the price of the expected price to begin with. They began arguing with us telling us that this was normal, and this was like this at every place in the area. When we threatened to walk out and leave that’s when they said they can magically do the acrylic that we originally asked for. At this point my friend and i did not trust them with our nails and ended up leaving. We for sure won’t be going back or recommending this...
Read moreUsed to be my favorite place, I love the powder nails. However, I had such a horrible experience today I will not be returning. I sat in a chair with acetone on my nails for half an hour, it was then removed, and I sat waiting for an additional hour for someone to actually do my nails. No exaggeration. Then when someone finally came to do my nails, they filled them so roughly that it caused three different fingers to bleed. The final product was alright, but the shape of the nails is inconsistent and the powder goes over the cuticles and looks messy. My friend got a french gel manicure by the same person as I was waiting, and hers looks very messy as well with uneven lines. She also experienced bloody fingers. Too awful an experience, especially for the price. Will not...
