I've been a customer of Cobra Tea since their opening back in the Fall/Winter of last year, and it has been an amazing experience every time! The staff members are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Nikki is especially friendly and always ready with great suggestions if you're having trouble deciding.

We've been on a mission to try every drink on the menu, and so far, everything has been fantastic. If you're not a fan of super sweet drinks, you can adjust the sweetness level. They also offer non-dairy options for their milk drinks, making it inclusive for everyone.

Cobra Tea offers a variety of add-ons for your drink, but the boba here has the perfect texture—chewy and just right. They also have lychee jelly, some of which are shaped like hearts, which is a charming touch!

The food offerings are equally impressive. My sister tried the ube toast naka and the Japanese strawberry fruit sando, and she absolutely loved both! Everyone in my family is a big fan of the real coconut pudding—it's a must-try!

This spring, Cobra Tea began offering omakase, and it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and Rudy made sure to explain each dish so we knew exactly what we were eating. His personality and attention to detail in the presentation made the entire experience fun and memorable.

Cobra Tea is more than just a bubble tea place; it's a wonderful cafe where you can relax and enjoy high-quality drinks and food....

5 Stars – Sushi That'll Put You on a Bullet Train to Decadence (With a Layover in Japan)

From the outside, this little restaurant in Caldwell looks like the kind of place you'd second-guess walking into. Definitely not where you'd expect a life-changing sushi experience—but that's exactly what we got.

We did the full chef experience, and wow—this wasn’t just a dinner, it was a culinary adventure. The chef personally served us each piece, like tiny gifts of joy, straight from his magical hands to our taste buds. The fish? Mostly flown in from Japan and so fresh I’m convinced it had frequent flyer miles. Faroe Island salmon, delicate scallops, Japanese mackerel, truffle, black beluga caviar... at one point I stopped trying to identify everything and just surrendered to the bliss.

First bite in, and it was like being launched onto a bullet train to Tokyo—with a layover in umami heaven. One piece of sushi in and you forget you're in a small restaurant in the least likely corner of Caldwell.

Michelin? I love it. But this went far beyond. It had that intimate, familial vibe, like the chef was cooking for friends, not customers. And yes—I proposed here. Because when you're already on cloud nine, why not make it official?

Trust me: don’t judge a sushi spot by its storefront. Get in, sit down, and prepare to have your soul gently escorted out of your body by a piece...

I’ve been meaning to update my review since my first visit, and today’s the day! I absolutely love Cobra Tea. Every item I’ve tried here has been amazing, but the standouts for me are still the coconut pandan caramel latte. I’d also highly recommend the ube latte, watermelon lychee, and ube cloud.

It’s also a fantastic spot for a snack or lunch. So far, I’ve had the spicy tuna crispy rice, unagi don, negi toro don, tuna flight don, toast naka, and the real coconut pudding – all absolutely delicious. If you're looking for an exceptional experience (though a bit pricier), you must try their omakase. It’s by reservation only, and totally worth it. The first time I went, we had around 18 courses, and I returned just this past Friday for their 14-course Valentine's special. They hit it out of the park every time.

Not only is the food and drinks incredible, but the owners, Rudy and Nikki, offer top-notch service. They’re incredibly kind and endlessly creative with the dishes, desserts, and drinks they create. Their innovative flavor combinations really show their deep understanding of flavor, and their passion for their craft is evident in everything they do. I’ll never stop recommending Cobra Tea – 100000/10, always!

I was blown away by my experience eating at Cobra Tea!! I had the 15 course omakase. I have been to many omakase spots in NYC and Chef Rudy goes above and beyond in flavor, creativity, and experience. I love the small, unique ingredients he adds to each course that still maintain the flavor of the fish but take it to the next level. Not only is the food amazing, but Rudy genuinely cares about his customers. He demonstrates his expertise and passion right in front of you with so much warmth and friendliness it felt like talking with a friend despite just meeting him for the first time. The yogurt made by Nikki is so creamy and like none I have had before. I would come back just for the yogurt lol. Amazing hospitality and quality food and drinks. Stop by because they are truly the best!!!💫⭐️💕
