SAMM Sound — Attraction in West Caldwell

Victor has great customer service. I work with samm sound through intoxalock and went today to have my device recalibrated. The machines were down on intoxalock's end and victor spent a whole hour on the phone with them trying to make it work for me. When the intoxalock representative said they would allow me to recalibrate the machine at another location 25 minutes away, I was pretty annoyed because I had to get to work, but I figured it was the best option for me, so I told victor I appreciated everything and left. He called me 5 minutes later to tell me to turn around and that the connection was fixed. To my knowledge, samm sound makes $20 off of me once every two months, so victor was not doing this for my patronage/ money; he went out of his way for a customer who contributes little money to your establishment just because he cares. Took my car here because the radio that was installed at a different location 12 years ago stopped working. I asked if they could look at it to see what might be wrong. He had no interest and tried telling me i needed a new system. Had no idea what a stealthbox was even though it was very common for trans ams and camaros. Wanted over 2500 for just equipment. I went to best buy and their installer immediately knew it was just the head unit. So for a few hundred dollars he installed a new head unit and rewired 2 speakers and the amp and remounted it because it fell out. Total rip off. I've been working with Samm Sound for 30 years, from car stereos to home audio and theater systems. They have always done a spectacular job, make appropriate recommendations without trying to oversell me equipment I may not need all with professionalism, responsiveness and courtesy. After installation service has never been a problem, they come on site immediately to resolve any issue regardless of size of repair and always attempt to repair over telephone to save money for service call.
