Masala's Groceries — Attraction in West Chicago Township

A few months ago this would have been a five star review. Unfortunately, the associates are often distracted or on their phones- and the owners never have anything in stock. They lack essentials of Indian cooking, and have been out of items for several months. Often they say “it’s out of stock.” Yet, every other Indian store has managed to find these “out of stock” basic items (samosa, spice powders in large sizes, etc). When the store first opened- they had a sheet of paper for customers to write what they wanted in stock in the store- things have changed significantly...

Very Expensive prices. No fresh veggies. Small store. Not much collections of groceries

What is this. Selling expried food in the store. Tastes very bad man. How people giving permission to this kind of people to sell expired food. I had bad vomit by eating the snacks. And not even less prices. Selling for high prices. Expired food also expensive??? Lollllll man . What to do this people.

Started out nice but the owner keeps raising the prices unreasonably high for items. They charged me $7.99 for a 4pc haldiram’s paneer/onion paratha, $3.99 for half a gallon milk and 99c for one lime. You can get these items for $2.5, $1.5 and 30c at Pete’s. The bag of rice which was $12.99 last week is now being sold for $17.99. Save your time and money and go to Pete’s instead, they sell majority of these indian products but have a much...
