Taco Pros - Mexican Cocina (Taylor St) — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I don’t usually write any bad reviews, but the past two times I went, the food has made me very sick, the first time I went the food was great. The chips were great, however, after that, everything started going downhill, the chips were very soggy and the Tacos became very greasy. I’m not sure why, I did not go during rush hour or anything I usually go around 11 in the morning right before the lunch rush starts. But about three weeks ago was the last time I visited, and the food gave me food poisoning. About 30 minutes after I ate the steak tacos With Chips and queso, I ended up, feeling extremely nauseous and dizzy, and eventually ended up throwing up all day. I most likely will not be coming back as I am very worried of getting food poisoning again. Makes me sad because it is in a very convenient spot but I will not be risking my...

The food was absolutely delicious and wonderfully prepared... Meaning, nothing was burnt or undercooked!

The only issue I have with THIS particular food chain here in Chicago is how everything is done in the back, behind a wall AND a mystery door... Totally out of customers view!

Then the cashier comes out like a gameshow hostess revealing the "Big Bag" of all you had ordered! Only... No smile!

Although you are completely OBLIVIOUS to all that transpires back there, just know.... YOU'RE not able to ask any questions to the cook, or if you can pay extra for a bit more as it's being prepared!!!

You just have to be willing to walk a way in spite of all you DON'T know!!!

This is my first time at this location and I was throughly impressed at how delicious and fresh the tacos and ingredients are. I got chicken tacos that comes with onions and cilantro and I added tomatoes and cheese and we very thing was the bomb frfr. They tasted like the location I tried previously in Burbank near Ford city area and to me that speaks volumes that they are true to their ingredients and recipes all across the board. This was also a very nice and clean establishment and the atmosphere was bright and good energy and Greeshma was very friendly and nice!
