Galster Wilderness Park — Attraction in West Covina

This hidden park is so wonderfully peaceful its like going to a shortcut to the tranquility going to the mountains give you remember the silence you hear cause your away from cars and traffic well that's what you get at Galster.There is a beautiful maintained park with with small playground, spiral staircase tower in center with restrooms, a multilevel hike path that has gorgeous view at the top and on a clear day can I believe you can see LA! My family came to Galster Wilderness Park due to the great reviews and expected to go hiking on a nice trail or two. Unfortunately, the park is pretty lacking. It has one small playground with little to no kids. The trails are overgrown and unusable. It looks like some homeless people are living in a spot adjacent to the lookout. There are alot of homeless people here. The public restrooms here are not clean. The coyotes come out here alot in the wild and night for hunting. There has been people doing graffiti on the hills up where you can camp with the second locked men and women's restroom up on the hills of hiking. Some of the Park's structure and parts of the buildings that had been damaged has now been repaired through the Nature Center and other parts of the hiking trails and the lunch benches around the...
