Flora Bakery & Tea — Restaurant in West Covina

This placed was called "Lucky Sakura" before when it was first opened in 2021-2022. It is located in the Tokyo Central plaza near the Dunkin donut stores. Plenty of parking because it shared with a whole bunch of stores in the strip mall.

Regardless of change of owner or the change of name, this place is always known for its mochi with stuffings and cute design. You can always customize your preference or have to custom make for you. The difference is probably they have less variety of food now, just mochi and cakes.

Flora Bakery & Tea has been in business for almost a year. The quality of mochi is still great, size is still big and cost is still kind of pricey. You get 3 for $20. The exterior & interior design of this store is pretty with flowers and cherry blossoms ( like a garden ) feeling. It has an area where you can sit outside or inside to chitchat and eat your dessert.

They have many kind of options. Different cartoon and different stuffings in there for example, strawberry, green apple, peach, Oreo, mango. Each one has a very good taste to it.

Highly recommended for dessert place and there isn't many if any of these kind if store around in LA /...

It’s a cute dessert shop in the plaza across from Tokyo Central! Their mochis are super cute! They have all kinds of characters! Not sure if they can do custom designs though. Recommend to eat the day you buy it. First time I came was during CNY and they were all sold out. The lady was nice enough to check the back and see if she can arrange around her orders to sell me one. I got the peach shape with popping boba inside. I was recommended to order through WeChat if I wanted to order for any holiday. Their mochi has whip cream and popping boba inside. Ours had peach popping boba. Sweetness I’d give it 3/10. So if you aren’t a fan of desserts that are too sweet, definitely try this place. Their prices are a bit high. The pig character was $25. You’re buying for the cute characters mainly. It’s a cute...

Love this place!. Everything they had was just so cute and adorable!. The service was amazing too. The girl there told us how everything is had crafted and made each day. She explained the flavors and local favorites. All the ingredients and flavors are seasonal and fresh so they vary year round. When we took some home and tired them they were so delicious. It's the softest and delicate thing you could eat. They're the perfect size too. This place is amazing for gift giving, just seeing how cute and detailed they are is so perfect. They even package it up all nice for you. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to try something new or looking to find that perfect...
