Altar'd State Jordan Creek Town Center — Attraction in West Des Moines

Save your receipt! My daughter went to return a sweater that was unraveling, she'd worn it twice. She went to Arula and they didn't have anyone who could help her so they sent her to Altar'd State. No one at Altar'd State could help and they told her to call customer service. She did and they attempted to find her receipt. They could only find that she had purchased the same sweater in white. She never purchased that sweater in white, only in blue, which they had no record of. So customer service said they couldn't help her. She then went back to Arula to ask if anyone could help her and they still did not help her. She ended up throwing the sweater away in the mall. This process was ridiculous. The website says if you don't have a receipt they can help you, but they didn't at all. We have been to the store before and were told they take returns always and no receipt no problem. The sweater was marked as their sweater and it's one they still have in the store and they would not take it back.The quality of this sweater was not up to par. For the prices they charge the quality should be way better, and the hoops they made her jump through to not let her return it was so frustrating. This post is specifically dedicated to Kaitlynn C. She has absolutely no customer service skills. When being checked out a woman who made a purchase before me walked up stating she hadn't received her emailed receipt and wanted to get a paper copy in the event of needing to return. The woman was being very polite about the ask. Kaitlynn literally looked at this woman and said there's nothing I can do about it now in a VERY snooty voice. I came in around 1 pm today. And I had the absolute best experience I’ve ever had while shopping. Today was my first day buying clothes for myself after having a baby. The two amazing ladies that were working gave me great advice, and picked out outfits they thought would look good!
