LA FRONTERA MEXICAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in West Jordan

Where do I start? My order was a delivery. Absolutely horrible the worst ever. It's been wrong or not very good in the past few orders but this time it's unbelievable how terrible all of the food is. $60+ for this!!I never really have complained before but every time it's just getting worse. Yes we have learned our lesson and will never order from La Frontera in West Jordan UT again. It's probably why people choose La puenta over La Frontera. This is not just a one time disaster others that I know have been having similar experiences with this particular La Frontera. I highly recommend people to definitely not order from here. I can't believe that the salsa was also horrible! Salsa or tomato sauce.. usually the chips and salsa are pretty good. Salsa is usually hot or medium and flavored. Not this time it is watered down ketchup.. that being said the salsa was the least of the problems. Smothered burritos with OUT beans. It's not smothered with anything and of course with a lot of beans. They were so nice to include an extra 6 oz container of yes! more beans. Large combination they forgot the enchilada, didn't get the soggy taco right. Payed for beef but I got once again more beans.. and mulched something instead of ground beef. More than I can list. I'm thinking it's some kind of a joke that is not really funny. My neighbors have had similar experiences from the same LA FRONTERA WEST JORDAN. Quite embarrassing as we had friends from Vegas here and I have bragged about how awesome this place was and though Vegas has amazing Mexican food but It doesn't come close to LA Frontera. Yeah I guess I was absolutely right about that.. just not the same way I meant. It definitely doesn't come close to freaking Taco bell because Taco bell is 10 fold better than La Frontera in West Jordan and it wouldn't cost you 1/3 of what La Frontera charged. The worst part is that when we notified them they were so very rude and hung up. Well well that speaks volumes. I sure hope others have a better experience...

I was absolutely appalled at how I was treated last Thursday, when me and my fiance came in to dine. I come in about three times a month. Whether I'm by myself or bring other people. I come here because they know how I like my meal. I like to get the nachos and beans with the beans on the side. I don't like how soggy the beans make the chips and my fiance doesn't like beans. Getting them this way I can share with him. When I came in on Thursday the server seemed like she didn't understand what I was asking for. I tried to explain to her that instead of putting the scoop of beans on the chips just put them on a plate. She said she would have to charge me for extra beans and I told her I'm not asking for anything extra, just put them on a plate instead of on the nachos. She left for a bit and I started pondering whether or not I should just walk out. Then she came back, with nachos with the beans on the side. I didn't think anything further of it and we continued with our meal. When the server drops the check she said, I had to charge you for the beans. I then grab the check to go up to the manager. I explained that I didn't ask for any extra beans just what would have normally come on the nachos. She said she has to charge me extra because the chefs can't figure out how to give a smaller amount in a bowl. I told her I didn't ask for anything extra and she said if she did it for me she'd have to do it for everybody else. Normally this is the location I prefer and have attempted to convince my family to choose this location over other La Frontera locations. However this evening I was highly disappointed with our take out order. We ordered 1 Flour enchilada with Carnitas and 1 Flour Chile verde enchilada

Both meals were too salty to eat! My Flour Chile verde Enchilada was packed with cheese and loaded with cheese on the outside and very little chile verde! Regardless it was too salty to eat and we threw away our dinner! I called the location and talked to the front register lady who was not apologetic at all and says they only have 1 cook and he uses the same recipe everyday. She claimed there was no way our food could have been salty! I explained that we are repeat customers and eat at their location often and have not had this issue- again she said there was nothing that could be done

I asked if we could get our food replaced and she said it would be the same, so I asked for a refund and she advised if we took the plates back we could Get a refund, I told her 1 plate was already In the garbage and I could try to take the other plate tomorrow - She never apologized and could care less about the feedback that was given to her! It really is too bad, we will now have to drive the extra miles to the Midvale location where they are pleasant and give you the chips and salsa for free with take out orders!!
