A world class roller coaster, airtime that enthusiasts such as myself typically can only dream of, a smoothness not often seen in a ride this large that is not B&M, and maybe the best use of terrain by any hyper coaster on the planet adding an extra punch to an already insane experience. On top of all of this, the operation crew are extremely efficient and helpful, which adds to the experience in a variety of subtle ways including helping to limit the actual wait times on longer lines and making the last rides of the day quite memorable. All around amazing experience but honestly do need to shout out those operators who made a tough stormy day at the park seem ten times easier for me and my sister with their transparency and understanding, and then later helping us plan for when the ride would close at the end of the day. Helped us tremendously and for that...
Read moreThis coaster is infamous, but it wasn't as intense as I thought and felt kind of dumb for being so scared to ride it. The most intense part is the ejector air time you get at the end, but the rest of it isn't bad, you can feel the g forces coming down the 232ft drop into the ravine and under the thunderbolt, which was my most favorite part of the ride was that long drop the rest needs improvement starting with the restraint system. For the airtime that you get, the restraints need to be more stable than they are. I mean it works, but just looking at it makes you feel a bit unsafe. I was getting nervous when I was on it with the restraint like it was. I will most likely ride it again, it was fun, but not as intense as everybody says it is and...

And whoever the ride op with the hat and tattoos is (I'm sorry I can't read your nametag in the darkened station) your energy is fantastic. even cedar point doesn't have such a one of a kind employee.
If you have to take a train off the track, don't separate the queue so we are waiting for the station for an extra 15 minutes! I understand that the queue feeds directly to the station with no interference after the bridge and can lead to crowding problems at the station itself, but it would really be that hard to put in a chain somewhere that the ride op unlatches?
one other comment relevant to the ride itself: the closer to the front the better. the drop after you pass the station will be...
