Boost Mobile — Local services in West Mifflin

I went to this boost store yesterday (day after Christmas) looking for a new SIM card for my new cellphone I received as a gift. I was told it was $30 which I couldn’t afford the day after Christmas. He tried “cutting me a deal” for $15. Instead of buying from him I decided to leave the store and do my research and a boost representative online told me they are only sold for $10! And I looked on Walmart.com as well sold for $9.88! Never returning to a boost store cause they are out here scamming people. Not only at this location has something like this happened. I’ve been a loyal customer for a few years now it’s a shame I might be looking for a different phone service now.

Update in reply to the response from the store: That doesn't make sense when he makes up the prices when I can't afford what he wants to charge me so he can make some commission. I asked a boost mobile representative in an online chat how much the sim cards are, they are $10 where are these hidden fees you want to add in? He wanted to charge me an extra $20. I went to Walmart and bought my own sim card and switched my phone myself for $10. Stop hiring scam artists who take advantage of people who need help with...

The owner/manager at the Boost Mobile store in Kennywood shopping center was extremely rude and unprofessional. She called me back a day after she said she would when she received the iPhone 5s which was selling for $199. I ended up buying one from a Boost in Mt. Oliver. (They were extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and I only paid $199). I told her that and she said you would have paid cheaper here. She said many people have complained about paying a lot because the"Indians" charge more. This was such a racist comment and threw me back a bit. So, she hung up on me abruptly. I called back and asked for her name. She said why. I said to report you. She said there's nothing you can do, I own the store. I said what is your name? She said none of your business and hung up on me! So completely unprofessional! I will never recommend or go to that...

I was in this boost store trying to buy a phone for my wife on valentine's day. The guy working behind the counter was very helpful. He gave me the best price on a new iPhone and put a case and protector for free of charge. the whole time I was there, we had such a friendly conversation, it felt like a very short visit.
