First off, Paul is a terrible general manager and has poor customer service, lacks any grain of accountability and redirects all fault on his costumers, the reviews don't lie like they said they did Paul.
When coming in with my fiancé we asked about 3-4 times that a membership she wanted would include access to all the clubs in Florida, 3 times, and all 3 times we were both told, yes.
We SPECIFICALLY went in due to the fact that we were confused on what was included in on that membership, so we seeked what a "representative" or "staff member" would/should know about, what they offer, what it includes, how it works, and costs. She was wrong
2 weeks later now that same wrong woman is telling me and my fiancé; after she's went to another LA Fitness and they told her that her membership doesn't work, that she doesn't know what's wrong and that we can go workout and she'll "fix" it. We finish our workout and she now doesn't have any words or explanation and just points at her general manager that she can't do anything. She then redirects us to her table and says we'd have to cancel the membership and repay everything for the membership WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ORIGINALLY if we knew the correct information.
Here introduces Paul, I ask Paul questions about the membership, and there fault in misinforming us: not once, not twice, but onward of 5+ times in the span of 2 weeks, his response: "well you both read the same thing, I don't know what she said or didn't" or "I'm not sure what deals they send you and you guys picked it so"
The humongous lack of accountability in his employees mistake is immense, if we were informed originally correct we would have easily stuck with the more expensive one and gotten the fees and all that once, instead he says a backhanded statement saying "well you guys chose the cheaper one" and smiles. We didn't care for the cost difference between the two, but if your telling me we can get the things we want for cheaper, we're gonna do it, hence anyone would.

I found out i had a balance so I paid it and renewd my membership and paid 3 kids club. I have a 13 year old that i wanted to bring and paying an extra person at this time was to much so i decided to get her a free 3day pass. The first day we went we had no problems. our second day i was told by the lady in the front that i needed to wait because the free pass was not active(strange since i used it the first day but whatever) I waited about 30min for manager Paul to help I understood he had no help so i waited patiently, This man came to help me he had a very very angry face, he asked what i needed so i told him a pass for my daughter, he asked for my id and her id i did not have that on me at that time. I was never told i needed an ID for her from the start. He had an attitude the whole time he was talking to me; while this was happening another lady walked in with her son and same thing happended to her so her son sat in the waiting area for her while she worked out. Since they did not let my daughter in I also told her to wait in the same waiting area. Paul extremly angry and frustrated told me daughter could not stay their unattended and that she needed to leave. He also told me that he did not need to deal with my attitude!!! but i was simply talking to him in the same manner he was talking to me!!! Read moreThe men's lock room is discussing. It has a bad over to it. It doesn't look like they ever wash the showers. I never see them clean the sauna. It is disgusting in there. I'm surprised the health department has enclosed him down. The equipment is old and rusty in the cardio. Machines are always broke and they say they're gonna fix them. Three weeks later distilled not fixed and when you go to do cardio there's no Treadmills, they have never updated their equipment men. She wondered where are membership? Money goes in their pocket and everything is old and not updated. Go to Eos fitness which is gonna open soon and you'll realize. That LA Fitness equipment is old and not updated in the places filthy. This is why they have a low Rating, that's why most people are moving to Eos fitness. It's brand new. It has more value for the money at the same price in the equipment updated. Not like this location when treadmills. Don't work for 3 and 4 weeks. But you get my membership money and do in do. What would it put it in your pocket All you did was fix the roof what's the landlord did and then you read a new the lease, but nothing to contribute to the gym that the membership paid in the roof still leaks when it rains.
