Strolled the nice sidewalk on Australian along shore & tullies, then Okeechobee road which was weary almost like a freeway shoulder, The wooden trail bridge starts where the airport exit curves off from Okee. I see why they needed this wooden bridge trail added for pedestrian safety at the curve there. Loved the wood trail lighting along its length at dusk, tho small gnats attracted to lights so walked on the side without lights, didn't feel much mosquitos but used Vevo body spray beforehand which we like. Bridge lights cast pretty shadows on the grassy tullie area at west end, looking toward evening lit buildings across lake. Safety Lighting was well lit at Okeechobee side entrance, but felt overall darker at the other end of the wooden trail bridge (less tall lights?). I recall street lights close by but still, it could use lighting to know surroundings better when exiting bridge to that dark west/north end. About...
Read moreWhat an amazing time we had this past weekend, the weekend of February 11, 2023! We were in the area last year looking for a nice beach to go to. We ended up at this particular beach, I wish I knew it's name. However, this past weekend we were looking for a beach to go to and somehow we ended up at the same beach!
It was great! The weather was great, it was nice and breezy and I was with the woman I 💕, my heart beat, my amazing wife of 44 years! Maybe one day. I'll let you all know how we met! Lol!
