Not much more you can ask for from a park. Usavle barbeque stands out (NOT reccomended) and a nice playground. This play ground has swings, monkey bars, and a miniature castle-type area. This place is also conviently by Flat Top Hill, a lovely place to hike. Next to the playground theres two huge fields, one speccificaly reserved for soccer. On the aide of the biggest feild there are dirty but painfully usable public restrooms along with beautiful grave monuments of souldiers next to a rental picnic area with a roof that is typically used for events. Read moreIt's a nice little park. However, a city truck pulled up while we were there and started cutting into the pavement right in front of the playground full of kids. Within minutes most of the kids were crying and holding their ears. It was so loud we had to leave with only being able to play for 5 minutes. My kids were devastated because they had been looking forward to playing at the park all day. My two year old now calls it "the scary park," so that sucks! I wish the city workers could have warned us or possibly waited for kids to leave before starting such loud, literally groundbreaking...
Read moreThis park is very close to our home and i believe its a 15 - 20 minute walk starting from the west richland library and then walking all the way to flat top hill park, (but i walk with my 2 daughters whos ages are 3 year old and 6 years old and its never packed with tons of people. And I love it when parking lots at any parks arent packed with tons of kids or people at the l parks! Its usually very peaceful and quiet also.
