Brick House has always been great, been going there for two decades. But things have changed. The pizza is still great but the service has been terrible recently. The last time we went in, in mid-February 2023, it took 2 hours to get our food from the time we ordered it. My family is super polite-many of us have and do work in service industries-but the staff was outright rude to us, including the young man who came and told us our food was on its way and asking if we wanted it to go. It felt like they were kicking us out after we waited almost two hours at that point. We dined in specifically to get out of the house and bring the family together. No, we don't want it to go! Again, the pizza was great but we will be exploring the other local pizza options that have popped up in the TC in the last few years, instead of Brick House. It's been a long time since I have felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. I hope the owners are paying attention to the change in atmosphere that the current staff...
Read moreUpon entering, we were not greeted, even though a staff member manning the front counter made eye contact with us immediately. Throughout our visit, none of the employees gave me friendly or welcoming vibes. Most looked annoyed to be there. In general, the restaurant was not clean. The salad bar was extremely messy, and all along the floor, there were salad toppings. Customers trafficking through further kicked the mess out towards the tables. The napkin dispensers looked like they hadn't been wiped down, ever, same for the hand sanitizer bottles on the tables. There is very little lighting, as several light bulbs are burnt out. I observed an employee handling food without gloves. No one was wiping down tables after people got up and left. As for the pizza, it was flavorless, and upon picking up a slice, all of the toppings immediately fell off onto my plate. With all the good reviews, I'm disappointed this was...
Read moreThis was a great place to try. I drove by the other day & saw it. Took the kids in on Thursday & we were not disappointed. The food was sooo good, the staff was super nice. They were busy so we had a wait for food which was just fine as I expected a wait with what time we went in (7:30), the food was worth the wait! I loved all the drawings on the napkin holders they were cute. It is a little expensive if you are looking for more budget friendly option for everyone to get their own pizza not shared like myself typically. I would love if they had personal pizzas available for dinner time (I saw there was a mini on the wall but it was labeled "before 4pm"). Cost was $95 for 4 12" pizzas (hand tossed crust is extra, & a couple pizzas had multiple toppings which are also extra) then we also had 3 drinks. Overall we will definitely be back to...
