Ty’s Bar & Grill — Restaurant in West Richland

I could not believe how bad the service was there Wednesday night December 6th.

There were only 4 people sitting at the bar and another table of 4 directly across from the bar and our table of 4 out near the pool tables.

From the moment we walked in we were not greeted or even acknowledged that we were there. After sitting for a couple of minutes I decided to go to the bar and order a couple of drinks. There was 2 young women working behind the bar. One was overwhelmed with the 3 tabs that were open and another woman that said she didn't pour drinks. I think the second one was the cook. Just poor attitudes from both. So I waited for the bartender to finaly stop doing whatever she was doing and pour 2 gin and tonics. I had to ask for a couple of menus. She was like, "Oh? You want food?". I said yeah just a couple of cheese burgers and fries.

No one ever came out to take our order for drinks or even just to greet us just when she dropped off the food. Never came back to check on the food or to see if we wanted another drink or even bring out the tab. I had to stand up at the bar for several minutes again just to get the tab. I gave up on getting a 2nd drink for myself, I went somewhere else.

The 2 cheeses burgers were good and the 2 drinks were fine too, the place was clean, and practically empty. The other couple with us had to go up and order there beers from the barmaid too. The bathrooms and tables were clean enough. It's just a shame to see a place that used to be so much better being ruined by two young girls with attitudes.....

The cook had her group of people come in towards the end of her shift and they didn't have any wait for anything....then the bartender would hardly leave the pool area...that's when I asked for the second drink but changed my mind because I went up to pay a few minutes later. She had not started making the drink yet or getting my tab ready. I said to forget the drink and just get me outta here. .... what a horrible experience. The service was just about as bad the previous time I was there too. Different girls, but still just as poor of customer service.

I do not like to write a negative review for any business, but this night the girls earned it...what a horrible way to waste time and money. Hopefully something good will come...

TYs used to be the only bar I'd go to. It was safe. Fun. Good environment. Great food.

Here is why my review went from 5 to 1 stars:

Trish and Christy were the only bartenders who had any idea what they were doing. They knew the customers, could manage time, make food and could make excellent drinks. Funny enough, a lot of regulars dont come in anymore.

They changed the food. It's not better. Last time I was there a bartender acknowledged that she only gave my friend half of his chicken order. She went out of her way to go up to him 3 times and tell him she would bring him the rest out. We were there until closing. He paid for them.

They got rid of Margo as Karaoke host. The new guy is clueless. So unorganized. Everytime I've gone in I've seen him fight with someone about how they didnt turn in a song or how he called them. Mostly he just sings the entire time.

The drinks are horrible. So bad.

But mostly! They literally steal from you! My friend was talking to a bartender who was leaning against my friends purse, she felt uncomfortable about it so she looked in her purse, all of her cash was missing. A few friends have commented that they will add extra drinks to their bill that they never ordered.

Once I left my card at the counter, they sent it home with another woman. Didnt catch it until hours later when I asked to cash out. Last time i was there they tried to give my friend someone elses card. He had to convince them that it wasnt his.

Unless they bring back Christy to get the bar under control, I do not...

First time in and will never be back. Waitress/bartender was rude to us and other customers. Yelling and screaming at people on the phone taking food orders. We do karaoke 🎤 regularly at multiple other places. Thought this place would be fun to try out, worst karaoke sound system and experience we have ever had. They played background music in the bar while karaoke was being done so it was just jumble of sounds that sounded terrible. Couldn't hear the kj or the singers. Drinks were absolutely overpriced at $15 for a double whiskey coke. I have NEVER been charged even close to $15 for my go to drink anywhere else. Ordered french fries that were so overcooked they were powder. Maybe this place was good at one point as I see older decent reviews, but it is not great by any means now save yourself a bad experience and some money by...
